This was the 1st 4 part series I read as a kid, I can't wait until you do Issue 4!!!! I love your commentary, I had much the same reactions to this story, and was the first insight to the human side of these characters, I was never intrested in FF until this crossover. These issues began a long career in reading books and comic books alike at a young age. Keep bringing the great content bro- time is your friend with insights such as these, more comic book fans will eventually flock to this channel. (Your content always presents itself as a labor of love- Stay Awesome!)

14:10 In addition to the artistic rendering of Doom looking quite dramatic, it's also possibly helping Bogdanove to meet deadlines. I admire when artists are able to take shortcuts, which blend well with storytelling.
It's annoying at times when writers still today frequently regress Johnny to the mentality of a teenage screw-up with no sense of responsibility. He had far outgrown that ages ago, as demonstrated in this issue.
34:10 It's such a small panel, both in size and in importance, but Bogdanove's coffee sloshing around the force bubble has stuck in my brain since I first read this issue when it was released. It's odd, but I think about it occasionally out of the blue. It's so well done. The coffee can be seen riding the wall of the force bubble, and our view sees some of the coffee from the front, and some from behind.

You’re spot on about the coffee scene, Paul. It’s impressive, and it required thought and imagination by Bogdanove. He was going for it.

I had these comics and wasn't a fan of this 4 part. It was eh, i think it was more i wasn't a big FF fan. I bought them for the crossovers and some reading but overall just FF was ok to me.
