I love Elton John so much. I didn't think an adaptation could possibly meet the standard of the original, but you surpassed the original by so much. You put so much thought into this when converting it into a duet. And there were so many subtle things like the plucking you did in the chorus! I adore your work. Thank you as always!

I saved this out during the afternoon, to play this evening, for my daughter. Things got busy, and it didn't get done. Then, just now (at midnight), both she and my son-in-law (along with little Abby going to sleep in her daddy's arms) stopped to listen. Harry never stops to listen to music with us (he doesn't hate music...it's just not a priority with him), but he said he LOVED it. Judi did, too, as I expected. We used to sing this one together sometimes. ;-) Abigail was lulled into sweet dreams...she knew it was her song, too. :-D Thanks again, ever so much. You have really made our day.

Hey Broskis, I like this iteration of this song. My father just passed away and My Mother asked me to make a small Tomb for him. With the help of my Family and Clients we were able to bring the project into fruition. She said it reminded her of this song.

I love how retro you two are becoming in the covers you choose to do. Interesting fact I was in my teens when Elton John recorded the original and I had family members who had the exact antique phone seen in this video.
