Thanks Eric, I watched half, saving the other half for later. Alright, finished watching. Now I know why people were commenting "nice". I thought they were nuts or it was something from Twitch.
Eric in game 1 I would’ve appreciated some analysis on the line you spent 3 min calculating. Would’ve been interesting to see what the engine had to say.
Great Speedrun Eric - thanks - really instructional. In the first two games though, against the GP Attack, both players played d6. Since the 'standard' refutation of the Bc4 line involves playing e6 and d5 and Ne7, d6 seems to waste a valuable tempo.
@@Pwnz0rh3nkhe lost to a cheater thats the rating refund but he also lost in a game he mouseslipped while calculating (it says something about a misclick in the title)
In game 1, black also made a mistake on move 10. Nh6 is best, freeing up the rook and getting the knight into the game. Eric then missed a chance on move 13, where the more aggressive Nxe5+ would have been a bit better than fxe5, but with some help from his opponent, it was soon over anyway.
8:35 if anyone headed back to rewatch the lecture, feel free to correct me, but I remember Eric covering d4 for this specific move order, but the response for Black being Nge7... then again that could've been another video
@@dba1222 Eric is using an official speed run account. Everyone he plays against gets their rating refunded because he's playing below his level and it's not really fair to them to lose rating points to an IM. Nothing to do with the other player being titled
21:01 “You know what… I’m in a pretty aggressive mood.”
He said in the most calming, welcoming tone ever spoken. 😂
And with a huge friendly smile on the face 😂😂
"Eric Rosen said aggressively" is the mirror-universe equivalently ironic match to "Dumbledore said calmly" lol
I see a lot of people like the number 69. Is it because it looks a lot like the yin and yang symbol?
Yes
you get really ying yang with 69 indeed
Yes

It's comforting to know that even Eric can overlook being taken by a backward moving knight

This one is worth watching to the very end
I was about to shut the tab when he thanked everyone for watching. I'm glad I paused just long enough to hear the nice ending.
Nice

Gambits only speedrun next!
Hello. I’m always happy to see a new speedrun.
I think the title of this video is the naughtiest thing Eric Rosen has ever posted.

Really nice episode Eric!
What an excellent speedrun Eric ! Thank you !!😊☕☕Gregory.
i watched a couple of your videos and now i magically can beat Mariah, the 1000 bot.
earlier this morning I couldn't even last against the 700 one.
A bit disappointed that you didn't analyze the Bxe6 line

If you just took the trapped rook, most players would resign on the spot. But mate is best!
1:33 why can’t black play e5 and save the pawn?
Then f pawn takes and Ng5 causes problems
fxe5 opening f-file, after dxe5 Ng5, black position collapses as there is no way to sufficiently defend f7
Great series. Nice ending
I love this speedrun!!!
I am here for Stafford attack ❤
Does anyone know the speedrun episode that he lost?
Lost to a cheater
@@Pwnz0rh3nkhe lost to a cheater thats the rating refund but he also lost in a game he mouseslipped while calculating (it says something about a misclick in the title)
Episode 65 I think. The one titled no no no no no.

In the second game, around 14:54, I feel you could've gone Qf3 to Qxb7 to win a pawn and still protect your Bishop.
"My opponent, decently hydrated"... okzy
I only just thought about this, the guy that beat you (I know it was a mouse slip) does he get to keep his rating points he earned for his win?
What a fine number of episode
The first game Eric basically played with himself ))
22:40 id sac on f7
Nice 👍
Can you play the London?
offer a pawn and end up with 2 B's on an open board, with an extra pawn?? This is madness!
At 6:00, why doesn’t he even talk about nf7 winning the rook? Am I missing something?
He did briefly mention it but that he thought it might be too materialistic.
NICEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE episode - also i liked the games :D
finally we reach the number
are you going to make Team Chess game review vid
Wow, the last game was almost equal when Eric was down 3 minutes. The first unrefundedable non-mouseslip loss incoming?
37:58 ahahahah nice ! 😂😂
Nice! How did you do that?
@@nikf7337 It's in the video, Eric did that ! (Or his editor if he has one)

Why would the opponent get the rating refunded? Can someone explain?
cause he's doing a speed run. aka smurfing.
@@stronkde ah right. So because the other play has a legit "title" the playrts they play are required to be "legit"

lol nice Kramnik reference

Nice video
I'm a smart guy. But I'm not mature enough to pass the 69. Nice!
Why are 2100s playing like 1000s?
Maybe they look and see who they're playing and get nervous?
Because they're not playing like 1000s. Source: I'm 1400.
woo
nice!
It's a shame you probably won't get to episode 420, but I'll take an episode 69 for sure. Nice indeed.
Hey why u don't play against Magnus i think you will win
What does 69 mean?

Eric Rosen, I have a request, can you play the London with white, all the games with white, on the next speed run?
