I’ll be a beta tester… 😁
Well there went some day buying a new moto.. I will just keep my 2022 that I bought. Im just now starting to learn the setup I already have and now they wanna try and be like polaris lol... no thanks...
No doubt.
what does this clutch come in
I have a 2024 cforce 800xc. I have almost 400miles on it and a cpl days ago I noticed a banging sound coming from around the rear differential as soon as I engage the throttle. It doesn’t do it while shifting gears only on initial engagement. Anyone ever have that problem?
You lost me at Polaris Clone , lol.
Lol
So. They have a new 2024 CVTech Cforce 1000 in town. I was going to wait for the next, Gen 3 batch. Its almost the same price. Whatcha think I should do? Baby Jesus will know if you're lieing.
The gen 3 is the machine that has this clutch.
@@R.N.GPerformance Yeah. Just sayin' I have one last chance to get a new Gen 2. Is it like the guy that has a chance to get the last 69 Camaro before the 70s come out? Or are the other good things about the Gen 3 attractive enough that the clutch is not a show stopper? I keep wanting to see someone that knows clutches go out and test ride.
So not impressed.. They should have went with a Suzuki/Yamaha Style. No issues at all with any of my Japanese bikes. POLARIS!! Crap!!
You seen it here first folks! lol I thought you said something about the secondary being too big to fit, so is this for only Gen 2 CFMOTO?
This is for the brand new 2024 cforce 800-1000
@@R.N.GPerformance Oh ok
In your professional opinion, would it be a mistake to buy a Gen 3 1000?
Or too soon to say?
My professional opinion would be never buy the first year or 2 of any make/model because in those 2 years the customer is the one who is the guinea pig and has to deal with all the bugs that will need to be worked out.
I appreciate your honest opinion 👍👍👍
Thanks!
I chose to by a new 2024 gen 2 800xc instead of the 2024 gen 3 ,I belive I made the right call.
I believe you did also.
Me too I bought the 2024 800xc
I’m dealing with my belt slipping on my gen 3 1000. Last night I decided to pull the belt and inspect it. During the reinstall I noticed the secondary didn’t fully release till I spun the secondary backwards. Spun it several revolutions ccw and the belt remained loose. 1 revolution clockwise and it fully seated and set the belt tension. My guess is the rollers are gummed up like you said. I didn’t pull the clutch yet because I can’t find the torque spec for the bolt. You would t happen to know the torque spec or any suggestions. I’m supposed to be going for a ride tomorrow. Any help would be appreciated.
12.5 hours and 102 miles on my machine.
It’s the helix sticking. We just went through all of it. Not the rollers. Check out my latest video on it. But we have to make some changes we got the problem fixed.
I checked out what I think is the correct video where you’re running the 800 on the dyno and talking about the ebs/non ebs designs you’re working on. It doesn’t explain anything about why mine would be hanging up. I do plan on buying a clutch kit when you have them available. Is there anything I can do about it in the meantime while I’m waiting? I’m on a bit of a time crunch at the moment. I’m going riding tomorrow to finish my break in before heading to aoaa in a week and a half.
Lookin goog there Brother!
I’m guessing the larger secondary clutch might mean more torque at engagement/ lower sped ratio but who knows, I certainly don’t 😂
We shall see
Dynotech out of Nisswa Minnesota has a really good replacement for those Polaris type clutches
We will have something for these also.
Will this be in the 24 Uforce 600?
Hmmm 🤔
We will certainly see this clutch in the new UF1000 3 cylinders.
Arethey better than cvtech
In my opinion and experience with other clutches like these NOPE CVTech is the way to go.
It figures Cfmoto had something that worked, then they have to change it. Time will tell if it’s gonna work out or become unreliable and cost more money to fix.
Agreed 👍
I have a brand new 2024 1000xl and I hate the jerking it does. I was told it had the new style clutch when I bought it but it doesn’t. Im trying to talk the wife into giving me the money for a clutch kit lol
Yeah it don’t have this clutch for sure. Grab out kit it will be nice and smooth for you my friend.
@@R.N.GPerformance what kit would you recommend going with. I’m going to put 32” tires on it. I use it for work and trail riding maybe slide into some mud every now and then
Wow I am very unimpressed. Totally disapointed. One reason I left polaris.
Agreed 👍 💯
What you pulled out was a weight. Those are marked in ounces.
