I used to be a football mom and I absolutely loved it!!! My son turns 18 this month and our football days are long gone now. Watching Houston play and seeing the teams reaction to their win totally made me tear up. I wish I could turn back time to when mine was his age. This momma isn't ready for my boy to be all grown up yet. 😢

And I love watching Houston play football because my youngest son, Kyle (now 33) played YAFL from Peewee to Senior and Senior 2x, so he played for 6 years (Seasons) and I loooooved it!! His 2 positions were Quarterback and Receiver and I have the best memories of those days so long ago, so watching Houston (I'm so proud of him) is reminding me of those days that I miss so much!! As you probably already know, the years fly by when you have children and it's shocking to me just how long ago it has been now! She cuts up the apples, what are a few more minutes. No, mom gives us HUGH chunks of carrot and then laughs when we drop it. Thanks for sharing and Houston looks bigger than a lot of his teammates. Oh how I miss my boys playing! My oldest always played the whole game! QB/RB on offense and different positions on defense. My youngest was not as athletic inclined...my oldest loved it with ever fiber of his being and that does make a difference, I believe! Love the song "the boys of fall" by Kenny Chesney.
