@@ReturnOfCorrie-_- try increasing your Syncho station in the post. Leveling up your gear also helps. But yeah, being that far underlevel, you are at a bigger damage and armor penalty than I was - the fight is way harder for you than me. Good luck!

Thanks for the guide, I finally beat it. My problem was that those summoning ports are so tiny, I seriously couldn't see them on my phone. Also when she spits out the missiles, the auto aim kept sticking to the missiles vs the summoning ports - i had to keep readjusting my aim because the auto aim would pull my aim away. The "Summoning Port" text straight up covers the ports.
"What is it doing!?" was the ongoing thought in my head when I was fighting this thing for the first couple of tries. Surprisingly easy once you figure things out

Glad I could help! Yeah it gets tricky sometimes. The same boss can have different attack patterns and play styles between: story, raid, coop, interception...etc
Thank you so much for the tip with focussing just on the R1 summon ports! Burst with Dorothy at 2:45 and then burst every time you can did the trick for me, and I do not have Modernia or Scarlet (did it with Dorothy, Noir, Blanc, 2B and Alice at lvl 219).
Dude thank you so much for commenting that you used Noir and Blanc in your team comp cuz without it i would've had to upgrade Noah to which i did not have the resources to (nor did i actually want to build her really) upgrade her but I managed to defeat this dumb boss with Dorothy, Crown and my very scuffed Scarlet as my other 3 characters at lvl 217 :D.

You can replace a taunter with a dedicated healer like Rapunzel, but you need to facetank the whale's Hurtle after destroying all of mini raptures. Remember : less raptures = less damage by the Hurtle My team comp : Dorothy/Maxwell/Scarlet/Centi/Rapunzel 147k CP
That's an excellent alternative - thanks for sharing! Rapunzel can also work extra duty, in case you loose someone (And hopefully I can get a Rapunzel soon as well!)
@@EatingWaffles After facetanking the whale's Hurtle, I used Rapunzel's Burst to heal up all my Nikke's HPs, and thanks to the facetanking, my covers still had high value. Then I just sat there and prayed that my HP + cover was good enough to survive the Master raptures's onslaught. Sorry for the late reply.

thank you so much, I was struggling to solve this the whole day but the recommendation of a taunter manged to help, although my phone crashed during the last 3 bars of the boss on my first try, I spent another 2 hours and managed to beat it using liter,crown,laplace,modernia, and noise
WTH. My main team is at 212k and couldn’t beat mother whale. But I used this team with 151k and left it on auto mode for basic and burst skills and I won easily.
I used Crown, Liter, Red Hood, Harran, and Rapunzel. Harran's burst clears the ads pretty effectively and she has high burst generation + she does lightning damage.
Been stuck on this boss half a year and after watching this video....and about 20 more tries and (with the edition of crown) I was finally able to beat it. Crown, Doroth, Modernia, redhood, and noah was the set up. Had RedHood burst focus the ports, while Crown split tanking with Noah (and with severely underleveled my team was. Crown's damage boost helped IMMENSELY). Mind you, I was a good, 4-5k under. Since I think had maybe a total of two overload pieces throughout my entire team.
Thank you!!! I was actually over the power limit and kept losing before i even got the bars to 130. I felt kinda stupid not jnowing what to do but this made so much sense. Smol White came in clutch and helped turn this around 🙏🏽
Same, I'm at 220k CP and I was wondering why my party kept getting decimated shortly after Mother Whale erects her barrier and deploys her minions en masse. Not to mention the fact that all of them were only taking 1 damage per hit. And this is despite Rapunzel being a mainstay in my team. I'll try switching around some of the other members as recommended in this video and give it another try, I've been stuck at this boss fight for the past week or so now. X_x x_X
@@SquishyRollingPanda Update: I switched around my team a bit and used Dorothy, Centi, Scarlet, Noah and Rapunzel and the fight was a breeze this time around, no one even came close to dying aside from Noah whose health never dropped below 50%. Thanks so much again for uploading this vid, I'm so happy to have finally cleared this fight, hopefully none of the chapter bosses from chapters 22-26 have a similarly annoying gimmick. XD

Diesel is Burst 2. Thanks for this guide. I'm still stuck on this stage, but Diesel seems to be able to tank the big wave of blasts, so maybe investing more will work.
I cant survive past the second summoning wave with the flying raptures and I cant understand why. I'm overleveled by 20k and still cant even get this boss halfway even with the guide. i really dont understand what im doing wrong and its so frustrating

After a month I finally beat it. Liter(I just limit break her today) 2B core 2 modernia novel MLB Rapunzel. Just lucky enough to clear the appearing mobs. 2b save me 2 times on that fight and I just try to hit the damn small targets if there's chance fck me. What a start of 2024 I hope it keeps on coming on real life too so that I don't have to feel sorry for myself

I got her in this lineup; Liter, Rapunzel, Scarlet, Modernia, and Crown. I kinda managed to time Crown's Skill 2 (Royal Attire) during the master rapture's spawn stage and abused Rapunzel's resurrection and heal to survive the rapture's waves.
Still cannot beat it with the recommended comp. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I can never kill the enemies in time to get rid of the whales shield. I'm level 210 and all my characters around 30k power

I'm using Liter, Mast, Mordenia, Summer Anis/Snow White and Noise for my team comp but I'm not doing enough damage. I could swap liter for Dorothy but I don't think the damage changes much. The difficulty has gone down drastically since the update but I'm still struggling to beat it :/ Any tips would be appreciated :)
I'd say sub out Noise for Helm if you have her. I made a Nihilister guide for chapter 20 here: th-cam.com/video/8gD8IKexx5s/w-d-xo.html But it's essentially the same fight in chapter 22

I managed to clear it by increasing my levels a little bit, but keeping my same comp when beating Nihilister in Ch 20 XD but I swapped out Liter with Dorothy instead. Im extremly overleveled for this, I'm 170k and ive porgressed through the hard campaign to where 200k is recommended and i still can't beat this flying whale. Ive been trapped in her for almost a year now. What a terribly designed boss.

Yeah, no. This is a bullshit boss. If tweaking game settings is one of the steps required to beat it, let alone owning specific units in a gacha game, then this is purely unforgivable game design. There is NOTHING else like this in the story up until this point, so to suddenly drop a high end, multi tiered raid boss in is completely absurd.

I was stuck on this for long while. Ended up using dorothy, diesel, smol white, rh and privaty at a 29k deficit. Honestly dont think I used my diesel to taunt well enough because my privaty ended up dying to the master raptures. But the tips still helped and I finally managed to take this beast down 👍
I think I'm missing something, how does the shield at 2:30 get taken down so fast? I've been trying with this team and different teams with this strategy, but I can't get past that shield, I take out all the ground units but the shield stays up until whale rushes at me then I'm dead. Honestly been stuck on this for a couple months and my team's CP is way over -_-
Clearly, without Noah / Dorothy I'm stuck for a long time... I tried: Litter / Diesel (taunt) / Modernia / Red Hood / Scarlet all at level 213, and I can't kill that boss
cleared this with dorothy-rupee-modernia-privaty-noise with 157k cp, i find dorothy makes this fight a LOT easier thanks to aoe spam+part damage and basically tanked a lot of stuff and healed back with noise; however focusing the small raptures is needed for this team to work (or saving aoe burst3 like in the guide) great video as always keep up the good work! i hope you find rapunzel like i hope to find scarlet someday...
Yeah, Dorothy is excellent for this fight! If the skill is timed correctly, it can screenwipe the small raptures as well Thank you and hope we both get the Nikkes we're looking for!
Is it the raptures that only take 1 damage per hit? For these raptures, you need a machine gun unit to kill them quickly as MGs shoot fast + high ammo There's also a small window of time before the barrier spawns, where the raptures won't be tanky yet
@@SquishyRollingPanda For me the initial raptures just have too much HP. I hardly have any OL units and they take forever to kill. These strats would work if we're properly equipped but I'd like if you could provide strats for people who aren't. This is not necessarily your fault, but a lot of these guides assume you're decked out with an OL team with high levels, and that's not necessarily the case for a lot of us. And it's not like the game will let you take the OL gear off since it's "stuck" to you, so there's no way to simulate weaker equipment. It sounds like I'm gonna have to spend a couple weeks just farming OL gear and hope for the best.
It's unfortunate that the game pretty much expects people to have a certain level of DPS/equipment at some point. Even for my Tetra menu equip, I've had to refrain from OL, so that I can equip them to Modernia instead If I do find some sort of cheese method, I'll be sure to share!
I can't even make it to the hurtle. I don't even understand. I have the same setup at higher levels and the instant the first mob comes in they just fucking oneshot my team one by one, and there is nothing I can do about it. It just KEEPS summoning them so I can't clear them all, and there is no window in between when they are summoned and the wave either. Like mother whale is summoning way more raptures for me in the first wave and I can't get anywhere close to killing them all before my whole team is dead.
Okay so... how are you melting through this guy like butter at only lvl 227? I'm 232 with liter and scarlet and can't even do a fraction of that damage. You're clearing checkpoints within seconds and it feels like you're playing an entirely different game.
Hm, I can only think of 2 reasons: 1) Aim assist is allowing me to more consistently hit my intended targets on PC 2) Overloaded equipment attributes (such as extra ATK % on DPS)
@@SquishyRollingPanda Like you take out that first wave of ads in the blink of an eye. I can't seem to kill them before wave 2 comes along, and even if I clear those, my party is nearly dead and wave 3 wipes me before the whale can charge forward. It takes all my effort just to stay afloat, so I can't even focus on the summon targets. As for overload, just how many pieces of gear have you done that for? Free to play only lets you do it like, twice. That, and wouldn't it show on your battle power?
I don't believe overload attributes affect your combat power, but I do show my full team and equipment in the beginning of the video You can also try timing your AOE burst attacks once the wave of ads show up

You receive custom modules from special interception (the blue crystals), which are used to overload equipment. You can only overload equipment that is T9 level 5 and manufacturer specific
Finally defeated this boss after being stuck for a week thanks to your guide. Used Pepper, Centi, Modernia, Laplace, and Noah with 5 seconds left in the timer 😅
Bruh you can if you have Smol white for the mechanics and Red hood for the DPS AND ACTING TANK cause her 2 if whole screen taunt if need to use, I Run Red hood, SMol White, Liter, Mast and Scarlett, also Im level 204 when it did it so it's not impossible for you to do it, (wasn't easy tho I think 20+ reruns for me) this guide helped me finish it faster tho.
Thanks for the guide! Tried your comps but with Makima as tank instead but still failed(cant seems to destroy all the raptures fast enough). Changed Liter to Dorothy and Guilty to Drake and still failed many times. And suddenly I beat it and idk how lol. For the first phase we need to aim manually at summon port(that goddamn thing is small af) since our Nikkes wont start shooting until the missile bombs is launched. And it's best to aim manually first at summon port to generate burst energy. After clear first phase better leave to auto AI for aiming summon port lol. I really dont know how I clear the raptures horde and where Dorothy burst targeting since I leave it on auto. When big raptures horde spawned, Makima tanking it and died. Luckily until the end I can survive with Dorothy burst only and it's such a close run 2 min 40 sec lol Oh and I have a question, can we get T9 gears from outpost and arena shop? If yes, what level of outpost to unlocked it? Or we need to beat specific stage at campaign?
Haha yeah, the tank is supposed to be sacrificial lamb, while the rest of your team destroys summon ports Yes, the outpost starts dropping T9 gears at level 144 (10% chance)
@@SquishyRollingPanda Interesting, because I remember trying to search for that informationn myself and through no source was I able to find anyone who could confirm when T9 drops in the store and in Outpost loot. Most simply assumed you could only get it through Special Interception.
mother whale cleared at 118k cp team: liter, centi, redhood, smol white, noah only redhood was overload gear had a leg and arm both charge time up centi is needed to make sure burst is active for most of the fight smol white is actually really good at clearing the adds if you get her on the correct cycle noah is to taunt that exact section, so technically any taunter can replace noah
First guide who dont't have Dorothy as main must have. I have been blessed by almost all Pilgrims but Rapunzel and Dorothy, plus the purple one (forgot her name) now just to readjust my squad and get done with damn whale once and for all....
You have great guides! I use them as a point of reference when I need them. Also, I have an "off the cuff "question. Did Noise's taunt get noticeably worse since the patch? While doing Train today it feels wayy harder to taunt the turrets. I barely had any of these problems post-patch.
Thank you!! And yes, all taunts changed a bit in the most recent patch. In short, the last patch inadvertently changed how taunting works, but it will be reverted. Essentially, once the red circles appear, the enemy has already locked on to a target and it will not change, regardless of any taunt mechanics. Previously, you can use taunt right up to the point before the projectiles are fired. Devs will be fixing this
Trying to do this stage on mobile feels impossible screen to small to get to see all the raptures and playing on horizontal is a no go only makes things smaller.
I just beat this fucking boss in the challenge of chapter 33 and i had to experiment around with it because it's way harder than this version. The team i had to use at the end was a Doro with the tiga duo and RH with og scarlet. Thank's for the video man
you should mention there is a new really insanely low clear with RH + smol White where you DPS down the core first for the clear while Smol White takes care of the projectiles/mobs with her random aoe. This works with dorothy-less players: Tia-Liter-Naga-RH-Smol White, so can clear without dorothy! I cleared at lvl 205 at 122k CP but I saw players in clear info clearing at low 200s and 115k CP. takes a bunch of retries but eventually smol white's aoe will time well and clear all three mob waves and tia will taunt the master-class raptures. core should be dead around that time and then you just kill like 3 or so parts with RH's solo B1-B3 burst for the win. a bit over 2 minutes for the full clear. i found that bastion on smol white helps her aoe timing sync up better with mobs.
OMFG! THANK YOU SO FREAKING MUCH! I couldn't get past the Master-class Raptures with Liter, Naga, Scarlet, Modernia, and Noah. But I followed this advice and beat it on the first try. Party was lvl 217 with 129,321 Combat Power.
man i'm not even past the 160wall yet and my core (crown, sbs, asuka, dkw, rapunzel) doesn't seem even remotely the type of comp (crown excluded) to be strong enough to beat this unless I get hella overload gear so I might just be hard stuck here for weeks despite pushing content with a solid 20-30% deficit with the ocassional rental use before reset, sadly up until this point :|
For the life of me, I still can't figure out how to target the ports, even with aim assist on, it pulls away when missles come out and can't get it fixed back on.
how do i kill the 2nd wave of raptures? that laser shower attack keeps wiping out my whole team. using dorothy, guilty, snow white, modernia, and noah with 145k power (dont have scarlet and alice’s skills are too low level)
Oh ty ty for the guide I finish this by learning mechanics in game and online using this guide, finished it with 122kcp that was after MQ was nerfed so required cp was about 144k about 22k cp defecit, SMOL White was mvp vs the mechanics of 1 damage didn't even need modernia for it, no tank btw, only sacrificed red hood when the mechanic that literally kills almost everyone of my characters hit because you know cp deficit, was kinda cutting it close but made it, RED HOOD IS OP But Smol White was the mvp for me REALLY BIG THANKS FOR THIS GUIDE BRUH, WAS Competing on ladder spot rank 2, CAUSE MY rank 1 was a big whale with level difference of 80 lol how to win vs that ty ty ty.
If anyone curious bout my COMP was Red Hood 3MLB(Cause more than 50% of dps was her) no OL on her, Liter, Smol White, Mast, And Scarlet 2 OL gear only 1 gear has max ammo.
Been stuck on this guy for a while, tend to peter out because I can't wipe the 2nd wave of aerial adds fast enough, but I have a lot of work I can do on my nikkes. Gonna try Dorothy/Noah/Modernia/Rapi Redhood/ then either Laplace or Cinderella not sure. I also have Scarlet BS that I was considering trying on this too. No normal Scarlet tho.
While i did all i could with this guide (i dont have Noah, Modernia and especially no Makima sadly), i still somehow won woth Dorothy, Noise, Scarlet, my girl Guilty and surprisingly my other girl Laplace The last one with her favorite item is a shockingly effective fighter. That beam for a full 15 seconds is a beast Im honestly shocked i beat Mother Whale as early as i did
Did it today with no modernia or repunzal. It's Dorothy, Emma, Blanc, Privaty & Noir. With 2 overloaded pieces each and skills at 5 each except emma Max to protect from lasers
That was god awful but I did it I took a page out of Neon's book and busted a hole through Whale's core. Removing the hurdle all together via Red Hood But she only removed half of the core HP So I did a little thinking: This team might be a little "flex" but... From left to right Liter -MAX ULT Naga- Skill 2 MAX Da Red Hood - MAX ULT Modernia Crown - SKILL 1&2 MAX Naga & Crown are simply buffers for Red Hood going through stages I II & III Naga @ skill2 max gives 40% dmg when attacking core Crown blasts atk power even further when an ult is used--even if its not her own. With that I was able to clear I was also above level :x And remember everyone: Firepower!!!!

Hated this boss so much - did it with Dorothy, Marciana, Alice, Modernia and Privaty. Dorothy and Marciana were a complete Gamechanger - Dorothys damage helped a lot vs the parts, and Marciana helped keeping my Team alive so that i actually had all Nikkes alive and well at the end of the Battle. Usually one of them died early on without her, so that my Burst rotation was broken in the 1st phase

You can replace a taunter with a dedicated healer like Rapunzel, but you need to facetank the whale's Hurtle after destroying all of mini raptures. Remember : less raptures = less damage by the Hurtle

@@EatingWaffles After facetanking the whale's Hurtle, I used Rapunzel's Burst to heal up all my Nikke's HPs, and thanks to the facetanking, my covers still had high value. Then I just sat there and prayed that my HP + cover was good enough to survive the Master raptures's onslaught.

I used Crown, Liter, Red Hood, Harran, and Rapunzel. Harran's burst clears the ads pretty effectively and she has high burst generation + she does lightning damage.
Been stuck on this boss half a year and after watching this video....and about 20 more tries and (with the edition of crown)
I was finally able to beat it. Crown, Doroth, Modernia, redhood, and noah was the set up.
Had RedHood burst focus the ports, while Crown split tanking with Noah (and with severely underleveled my team was. Crown's damage boost helped IMMENSELY).
Mind you, I was a good, 4-5k under. Since I think had maybe a total of two overload pieces throughout my entire team.

Same, I'm at 220k CP and I was wondering why my party kept getting decimated shortly after Mother Whale erects her barrier and deploys her minions en masse. Not to mention the fact that all of them were only taking 1 damage per hit. And this is despite Rapunzel being a mainstay in my team. I'll try switching around some of the other members as recommended in this video and give it another try, I've been stuck at this boss fight for the past week or so now. X_x x_X

@@SquishyRollingPanda Update: I switched around my team a bit and used Dorothy, Centi, Scarlet, Noah and Rapunzel and the fight was a breeze this time around, no one even came close to dying aside from Noah whose health never dropped below 50%. Thanks so much again for uploading this vid, I'm so happy to have finally cleared this fight, hopefully none of the chapter bosses from chapters 22-26 have a similarly annoying gimmick. XD

After a month I finally beat it. Liter(I just limit break her today) 2B core 2 modernia novel MLB Rapunzel. Just lucky enough to clear the appearing mobs. 2b save me 2 times on that fight and I just try to hit the damn small targets if there's chance fck me. What a start of 2024 I hope it keeps on coming on real life too so that I don't have to feel sorry for myself

I got her in this lineup; Liter, Rapunzel, Scarlet, Modernia, and Crown. I kinda managed to time Crown's Skill 2 (Royal Attire) during the master rapture's spawn stage and abused Rapunzel's resurrection and heal to survive the rapture's waves.
Still cannot beat it with the recommended comp. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I can never kill the enemies in time to get rid of the whales shield. I'm level 210 and all my characters around 30k power

But I'm currently stuck at 22-32 the one with Nihilister in the Ark do you have any tips on clearing it? I'm using Liter, Mast, Mordenia, Summer Anis/Snow White and Noise for my team comp but I'm not doing enough damage. I could swap liter for Dorothy but I don't think the damage changes much. The difficulty has gone down drastically since the update but I'm still struggling to beat it :/

Im extremly overleveled for this, I'm 170k and ive porgressed through the hard campaign to where 200k is recommended and i still can't beat this flying whale. Ive been trapped in her for almost a year now.
What a terribly designed boss.
Those ports are a pain to hit at times, especially on phone, I've tried to use the Horizontal Mode and it helps a little.

Yeah, no. This is a bullshit boss. If tweaking game settings is one of the steps required to beat it, let alone owning specific units in a gacha game, then this is purely unforgivable game design.
There is NOTHING else like this in the story up until this point, so to suddenly drop a high end, multi tiered raid boss in is completely absurd.

I was stuck on this for long while. Ended up using dorothy, diesel, smol white, rh and privaty at a 29k deficit. Honestly dont think I used my diesel to taunt well enough because my privaty ended up dying to the master raptures. But the tips still helped and I finally managed to take this beast down 👍

I think I'm missing something, how does the shield at 2:30 get taken down so fast? I've been trying with this team and different teams with this strategy, but I can't get past that shield, I take out all the ground units but the shield stays up until whale rushes at me then I'm dead. Honestly been stuck on this for a couple months and my team's CP is way over -_-
Clearly, without Noah / Dorothy I'm stuck for a long time... I tried: Litter / Diesel (taunt) / Modernia / Red Hood / Scarlet all at level 213, and I can't kill that boss

It's easier to leave them alive and have a Nikke tank the attack
cleared this with dorothy-rupee-modernia-privaty-noise with 157k cp, i find dorothy makes this fight a LOT easier thanks to aoe spam+part damage and basically tanked a lot of stuff and healed back with noise; however focusing the small raptures is needed for this team to work (or saving aoe burst3 like in the guide)

Yeah, Dorothy is excellent for this fight! If the skill is timed correctly, it can screenwipe the small raptures as well

Idk if we're playing a different game or what mine drops those raptures already tanky as hell and no way to destroy them and remove the barrier
Is it the raptures that only take 1 damage per hit? For these raptures, you need a machine gun unit to kill them quickly as MGs shoot fast + high ammo
There's also a small window of time before the barrier spawns, where the raptures won't be tanky yet

@@SquishyRollingPanda For me the initial raptures just have too much HP. I hardly have any OL units and they take forever to kill. These strats would work if we're properly equipped but I'd like if you could provide strats for people who aren't.
This is not necessarily your fault, but a lot of these guides assume you're decked out with an OL team with high levels, and that's not necessarily the case for a lot of us. And it's not like the game will let you take the OL gear off since it's "stuck" to you, so there's no way to simulate weaker equipment.
It sounds like I'm gonna have to spend a couple weeks just farming OL gear and hope for the best.
It's unfortunate that the game pretty much expects people to have a certain level of DPS/equipment at some point. Even for my Tetra menu equip, I've had to refrain from OL, so that I can equip them to Modernia instead

Is it just me or was the mother whale fight changed? The moment the raptures spawn I already do 1 damage and the second wave spawns way quicker.
Im trying to understand how you are even able to destroy the ports. They simply take no damage whenever i auto aim or manually aim at them.
Finally managed to defeat this yesterday at 140k CP. No OL gear, and none had limit break. I used Dorothy, Bunny Girls, Modernia and Red Hood.
I can't even make it to the hurtle. I don't even understand. I have the same setup at higher levels and the instant the first mob comes in they just fucking oneshot my team one by one, and there is nothing I can do about it. It just KEEPS summoning them so I can't clear them all, and there is no window in between when they are summoned and the wave either.
Like mother whale is summoning way more raptures for me in the first wave and I can't get anywhere close to killing them all before my whole team is dead.
If you have the same team composition, try to time the activation of your Scarlet burst for right when the first wave of mobs spawn in

Okay so... how are you melting through this guy like butter at only lvl 227? I'm 232 with liter and scarlet and can't even do a fraction of that damage. You're clearing checkpoints within seconds and it feels like you're playing an entirely different game.
Hm, I can only think of 2 reasons:
1) Aim assist is allowing me to more consistently hit my intended targets on PC
2) Overloaded equipment attributes (such as extra ATK % on DPS)
@@SquishyRollingPanda Like you take out that first wave of ads in the blink of an eye. I can't seem to kill them before wave 2 comes along, and even if I clear those, my party is nearly dead and wave 3 wipes me before the whale can charge forward. It takes all my effort just to stay afloat, so I can't even focus on the summon targets.
As for overload, just how many pieces of gear have you done that for? Free to play only lets you do it like, twice. That, and wouldn't it show on your battle power?
I don't believe overload attributes affect your combat power, but I do show my full team and equipment in the beginning of the video
You can also try timing your AOE burst attacks once the wave of ads show up

You receive custom modules from special interception (the blue crystals), which are used to overload equipment. You can only overload equipment that is T9 level 5 and manufacturer specific
No matter how fast I kill the raptures at 2:32 the shield does not disappear and a few seconds later I am dead
Hmm, that shouldn't happen. Maybe there's a tiny hidden rapture in the back 🤔

Bruh you can if you have Smol white for the mechanics and Red hood for the DPS AND ACTING TANK cause her 2 if whole screen taunt if need to use, I Run Red hood, SMol White, Liter, Mast and Scarlett, also Im level 204 when it did it so it's not impossible for you to do it, (wasn't easy tho I think 20+ reruns for me) this guide helped me finish it faster tho.
Thanks for the guide! Tried your comps but with Makima as tank instead but still failed(cant seems to destroy all the raptures fast enough). Changed Liter to Dorothy and Guilty to Drake and still failed many times. And suddenly I beat it and idk how lol. For the first phase we need to aim manually at summon port(that goddamn thing is small af) since our Nikkes wont start shooting until the missile bombs is launched. And it's best to aim manually first at summon port to generate burst energy. After clear first phase better leave to auto AI for aiming summon port lol. I really dont know how I clear the raptures horde and where Dorothy burst targeting since I leave it on auto. When big raptures horde spawned, Makima tanking it and died. Luckily until the end I can survive with Dorothy burst only and it's such a close run 2 min 40 sec lol
Oh and I have a question, can we get T9 gears from outpost and arena shop? If yes, what level of outpost to unlocked it? Or we need to beat specific stage at campaign?
Haha yeah, the tank is supposed to be sacrificial lamb, while the rest of your team destroys summon ports
Yes, the outpost starts dropping T9 gears at level 144 (10% chance)

@@SquishyRollingPanda Interesting, because I remember trying to search for that informationn myself and through no source was I able to find anyone who could confirm when T9 drops in the store and in Outpost loot. Most simply assumed you could only get it through Special Interception.
This is the first boss that I think I can't clear with a 15% CP deficiency unless you have very specific units.
Yeah, this one is real tough with a CP deficiency!
mother whale cleared at 118k cp
team: liter, centi, redhood, smol white, noah
only redhood was overload gear had a leg and arm both charge time up
centi is needed to make sure burst is active for most of the fight
smol white is actually really good at clearing the adds if you get her on the correct cycle
noah is to taunt that exact section, so technically any taunter can replace noah
Excellent use of Centi to generate quick bursts!!
Finally made it... Liter, Cown, Baby Snow White, Harran and Snow White. Just spammed to the core with Baby Snow White and Snow White 3rd burst
First guide who dont't have Dorothy as main must have. I have been blessed by almost all Pilgrims but Rapunzel and Dorothy, plus the purple one (forgot her name) now just to readjust my squad and get done with damn whale once and for all....

You have great guides! I use them as a point of reference when I need them. Also, I have an "off the cuff "question. Did Noise's taunt get noticeably worse since the patch? While doing Train today it feels wayy harder to taunt the turrets. I barely had any of these problems post-patch.

And yes, all taunts changed a bit in the most recent patch.
In short, the last patch inadvertently changed how taunting works, but it will be reverted. Essentially, once the red circles appear, the enemy has already locked on to a target and it will not change, regardless of any taunt mechanics.
Previously, you can use taunt right up to the point before the projectiles are fired. Devs will be fixing this

Trying to do this stage on mobile feels impossible screen to small to get to see all the raptures and playing on horizontal is a no go only makes things smaller.
Mobile totally makes things harder. Even in PC, I could barely see the spawn ports! 😵

I just beat this fucking boss in the challenge of chapter 33 and i had to experiment around with it because it's way harder than this version.
The team i had to use at the end was a Doro with the tiga duo and RH with og scarlet.

you should mention there is a new really insanely low clear with RH + smol White where you DPS down the core first for the clear while Smol White takes care of the projectiles/mobs with her random aoe. This works with dorothy-less players: Tia-Liter-Naga-RH-Smol White, so can clear without dorothy! I cleared at lvl 205 at 122k CP but I saw players in clear info clearing at low 200s and 115k CP. takes a bunch of retries but eventually smol white's aoe will time well and clear all three mob waves and tia will taunt the master-class raptures. core should be dead around that time and then you just kill like 3 or so parts with RH's solo B1-B3 burst for the win. a bit over 2 minutes for the full clear. i found that bastion on smol white helps her aoe timing sync up better with mobs.

OMFG! THANK YOU SO FREAKING MUCH! I couldn't get past the Master-class Raptures with Liter, Naga, Scarlet, Modernia, and Noah. But I followed this advice and beat it on the first try. Party was lvl 217 with 129,321 Combat Power.
man i'm not even past the 160wall yet and my core (crown, sbs, asuka, dkw, rapunzel) doesn't seem even remotely the type of comp (crown excluded) to be strong enough to beat this unless I get hella overload gear so I might just be hard stuck here for weeks despite pushing content with a solid 20-30% deficit with the ocassional rental use before reset, sadly up until this point :|

For the life of me, I still can't figure out how to target the ports, even with aim assist on, it pulls away when missles come out and can't get it fixed back on.
Even on PC, I share the same pain. It takes some fighting against the aim assist to target the ports, especially during those portions of the fight

If it's the laser attack in the second half of the fight, counter it by timing Noah's burst so that your team is invulnerable. I show this at 03:07

Oh ty ty for the guide I finish this by learning mechanics in game and online using this guide, finished it with 122kcp that was after MQ was nerfed so required cp was about 144k about 22k cp defecit, SMOL White was mvp vs the mechanics of 1 damage didn't even need modernia for it, no tank btw, only sacrificed red hood when the mechanic that literally kills almost everyone of my characters hit because you know cp deficit, was kinda cutting it close but made it, RED HOOD IS OP But Smol White was the mvp for me REALLY BIG THANKS FOR THIS GUIDE BRUH, WAS Competing on ladder spot rank 2, CAUSE MY rank 1 was a big whale with level difference of 80 lol how to win vs that ty ty ty.
If anyone curious bout my COMP was Red Hood 3MLB(Cause more than 50% of dps was her) no OL on her, Liter, Smol White, Mast, And Scarlet 2 OL gear only 1 gear has max ammo.

Been stuck on this guy for a while, tend to peter out because I can't wipe the 2nd wave of aerial adds fast enough, but I have a lot of work I can do on my nikkes. Gonna try Dorothy/Noah/Modernia/Rapi Redhood/ then either Laplace or Cinderella not sure.
I also have Scarlet BS that I was considering trying on this too. No normal Scarlet tho.
What do I do about the shield it puts up?
While i did all i could with this guide (i dont have Noah, Modernia and especially no Makima sadly), i still somehow won woth Dorothy, Noise, Scarlet, my girl Guilty and surprisingly my other girl Laplace
The last one with her favorite item is a shockingly effective fighter. That beam for a full 15 seconds is a beast

With 2 overloaded pieces each and skills at 5 each except emma Max to protect from lasers

Frustrated because I don't have Noah, Makima, Diesel (leveled), or Scarlet. My Noise can't even survive long enough to make it to that stage...
That was god awful but I did it
I took a page out of Neon's book and busted a hole through Whale's core. Removing the hurdle all together via Red Hood
But she only removed half of the core HP
So I did a little thinking:
This team might be a little "flex" but...
From left to right
Liter -MAX ULT
Naga- Skill 2 MAX
Da Red Hood - MAX ULT
Modernia
Crown - SKILL 1&2 MAX
Naga & Crown are simply buffers for Red Hood going through stages I II & III
Naga @ skill2 max gives 40% dmg when attacking core
Crown blasts atk power even further when an ult is used--even if its not her own. With that I was able to clear
I was also above level :x
And remember everyone: Firepower!!!!

Hated this boss so much - did it with Dorothy, Marciana, Alice, Modernia and Privaty. Dorothy and Marciana were a complete Gamechanger - Dorothys damage helped a lot vs the parts, and Marciana helped keeping my Team alive so that i actually had all Nikkes alive and well at the end of the Battle. Usually one of them died early on without her, so that my Burst rotation was broken in the 1st phase
