- Thank you so much for the amazing response this run has received! I thought this was one of the most entertaining speedgames out there so I really wanted people to see it and getting to do it at AGDQ right after Superman 64 was the perfect way to share this piece or art with the world. I'm really glad a lot of other people seemed to have enjoyed it as much as I did.
i come back to this stoned every few months and it is the best thing on the planet
This was easily the best run of the marathon. I laughed so much I couldn’t breathe.
That guy on the couch really enjoys the AH fall damage noise and it's contagious

Well, IMHO Arabinan Nights it's a perfect game for speedruning. So broken, so silly and so bland. Even if you hate speedrunning in general, you'll have to admit, that there is no other way to have fun with this "creation", other than speedrun it. Great work Kotti, as always.

I never thought just one video could make me love a game so much.
This Is the funniest speedrun I've ever seen! This game, even though it's bad, has it's charm! It's my childhood and I watched the full playthrough on TH-cam! I actually know a lot of details about this game eg. the names of all the princesses are Mellisa, Muscade (the Yellow one) Hellebore (the one with the swords), Spiruline (garden princess) and Guarana (Cave with Medusa).
Tip: In the game files, there are Quotes that are absolute gem ( eg Ali saying Oh sh-sugar) And the quality Is much better than in the game!
So glad to see you running at AGDQ Kotti. Came for the Hitman Blood Money runs, stayed for the broken Arabian nights!
I know this is old and you may already know this now, but the password you couldn't understand is "At the yakava feast, plant hydrangeas."

@@aracai Plant some pretty flowers when we go have some feast. I guess as decor for the feast. Maybe this password is only for the protagonist, or there is some insane, deeper, lore based reason no one is aware of.

Lizard man was the king of the guards and he gives those who beat him permission.
Also, it seems the parrot repeats a spell used to turn on the carpet.
I remember back in the day when i was little, dad played the Demo of this game, he never could figure out that the black potion is actually poison you aren't supposed to drink.

This run was fantastic, one of the best I have seen on any GDQ, ever. It was so entertaining, I could rewatch and enjoy it more than once a week!

I can understand that. You weren't too far off though, Germany's sort of close to Finland after all. Not exactly a next-door neighbor, but in the same ballpark I'd say.
