the nectarine one is like, something that would get pitched in a writers' room, and then immediately crossed off of the whiteboard. In fact, THAT scene would have made a better sketch lol......
Tim playing a guy in a comedy writers room who wants to pitch a skit about people eating nectarines, and everyone else on the team is like "but how would that be funny" and he's like "....they start eating MORE nectarines"
(and i say this because i love the rest of ITYSL, and this one is by far the weakest i've ever seen from them, to the point where it absolutely wasn't worth the budget it took to film it.)

I love how the ending of "Who is the most popular now Paul?" is cut off so it's just him doing a way over the top P sound. Like the editors were waiting for him to say Paul but he took too long with the P
4:48 is the most incredible prerequisite for what comes after, that gentle thawing of his seriousness as he begins to find it all funny. I find his microexpressions fucking incredible considering how dumb and juvenile he can go when he needs to :')

@@schtuff.8207 oh my bad i was specifically referring to Tim Robinson’s I Think You Should Leave, i saw so many side splitting clips on youtube that i decided to watch the actual show on Netflix and after watching 2 episodes i found about half the skits just hard to watch

I came here for the Tim Robinson sketch, but for some reason when that nectarine first hit the window I almost pissed myself idk why that was so funny to me lmao

Also, I was convinced it was gonna be revealed that the nectarines were soaked in rum.
Nectarines soaked in rum would’ve made sense. This is now the second idea I’ve seen in the comments section for what the skit could’ve been that is better than the actual skit.

The nectarine one is pretty accurate to office culture, in that the most "successful" people sit in meetings congratulating themselves, consuming resources, and without doing anything of value.

The kind of nonsense business babble they make up for the office sketches is exactly the kind of meetings I imagine the C-suite execs have at the company I work at.
I'm not a huge fan but these are at least a whole lot funnier than just about anything from SNL. Fairly certain most of the naysayers in this comment section are just bummed that there aren't any 'famous' people in it & a laughing track to tell them when something is supposed to be funny...
I’ve never understood who SNL is for, it’s not for kids, teenagers don’t find it funny, I’ve never met an adult that found it funny, I’m pretty sure the entire population knows it’s cringey and not funny yet it’s been going for decades, I really don’t get it. It almost feels like someone absolutely loaded has just been funding it for decades as a joke knowing it sucks but keeping it going anyway. At least if that were true, I would see the humour in it.
@@james2816 it’s for 11-14 year olds who are old enough to say up on Saturday night but are too young to have anywhere to go. It’s always been that way, man. To the extent that that’s no longer true, it’s just because the internet is what entertains kids that age these days

The nectarines skit made me feel bad for all the actors involved. The mulaney one i skipped forward over after a few minutes. All the Tim stuff was great.

It's funny because people do this. They hold an apple or handheld fruit while talking as if it makes them look cooler or more chill 😄 eating while talking is gross but people do it and she's probably making a joke about it. I loved it.
