How to Load an ATV with a Hand Winch

This is how I load my ATV into a truck using ramps and a $30 hand winch from harbor freight. I'm an overly cautious person and seen too many videos of folks crashing their ATV trying to drive them on ramps.
We use ATV's in the desert to recover research payloads form high altitude balloons.

The towel over the strap is for chain kick back. Not straps. Who do you think a 1 ounce strap is going to do to you? There is no mass to it, it will slow down immediately, not to mention the frayed end that hits you will feel like a feather duster.

It's a little atv you could easily push it up those ramps no problem

winch on the front for safety and the back for unloading

Or you could just ride the atv up the ramps... If you aren't comfortable riding up ramps you probably shouldn't be riding anything but gravel roads...
