Yup and it is still working! Thank you Alex! This looks like they sent you their donor board! I can send you pics of the both sides of the motherboard you fixed for me. Let me know.
Doesn’t help too much because you won’t find the missing component values from pictures
He would need the values of each cap, and the numbers on each missing diode.
If you know how to remove caps and measure the value. But why would you do that anyways.
This.
you need more than pics, you need value of each missing component, it means, you need the exact same board to check what the value is
It almost looks like the owner sent in a doner board with the hopes that you would rebuild it. 😂
a donor board would have those components properly removed i would think though, not ripped off the board.
😂
Thats what i thought too
Apparently someone removed those components with a jackhammer. Why would anyone remove so many components using brute force and then have the audacity to send it for a repair is beyond me, that's insane!
That is their first repair 😂
Why send a board that’s obviously been tampered with? Another chancer! If all the missing components were in one area you could possibly say it was probably accidental damage but this is more than that I think!
Ask customer for another board so you can measure and put new components.
*Looks like a donor board with all those issues lol*
Another donor board its a fact! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What’s the chances that this was a donor board?
Customer: "It's not powering up properly"
Yeah, that's because half of it missing!
Wow that board is a car crash. 😮
Maybe you can get this Audio-PCB as one unit?
There are other missing components anyway...
😄😄 they must have found it somewhere and thought it could be repaired.
There was not a SHIELD there. That its a small wifi or bluetooth módule and that's how they come soldered.
Did writing this in all caps make you feel better?
I wish people just stop doing self fix it freaking repairs dude freaked up the board with a 🛠 screwdriver 😞 let's hope that Alex can find a dono board for this 👦 guy .
Does someone know What is replacement for 5 pin SOT23 named: ABCOV?
Realtek makes Network IC's as well as Audio IC's.
c779 also damaged this board looks vandalized
someone bought a scrap board on internet and thought Alex could magically fix it.
Great Video, Better than Factory Best of TH-camr...
Hey Alex, that would be nice if you have Discord server for tech support and community.
I smell a follow up video with a reference board maybe
A true "Hiroshima" if I ever saw one. No way this board starts up. LOL
I agree with the others here. it has been rolled around in a big box full of junk parts boards.
I have one of those boxes and I roll it over many times looking for that weird part.
Like someone bought a used, harvested donor board for cheap and thought maybe it had a small repair that they could have fixed to make it usable
So irritating when people have knowingly damaged their board and still send it to be repaired with ignorant comments like this customer gave!
The board as some unholy things
looks like they tried to fix it themselves, gave up and sent it to you after they realized they didnt know what they were doing.
You got a donnerboard to repair and sell again 🤣🤣
I feel like people should have to pay a fee if they don't disclose prior repair attempts... It seems deceitful what people put in the ticket versus what they leave out.
. . . Dry chainsaw damage . . . 😂❤🎉😮
Someone meesed up that board and expect you to fix it, a joke!
What microphone you are using voice is crisp and good, any recommendation on these or better ones in your mind !!
This is way too much work to even consider repairing. As mentioned in the comments it looks like the user sent a donor board in the hope that it could be salvaged.
Why on earth would they send a board in that state. Credit to you for continuing after the first few finds
I think if you have old video about same board you can use it to know what is in missing components
i think some angry kid knocked that arcade machine to the floor.
People are crazy !
Awesome ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
Wow that board is trash
This one was not better than factory. It was DOA 😂😂🤣🤣
hi i've got an adata hm800 6tb external hard drive. is it ok to always keep it on 24/7 ? its got a power cable so i wanted to know if its safe to always keep it connected to electricity؟
Yes. Its specifically designed for this purpose.
people send you stuff just to test you and see your reactions and if you know what you are doing.
What can we do…? 😊 Let's do something else next time!
👍👍👌👌👏👏
Looks like someone tried to repair their own board by removing 'suspect' components after watching some iPhone data recovery videos. If you mess up your board don't expect anyone to fix it after.
Why is this a video ... surely contact the client and establish if they sent the correct board ...looks like a used donor board. I watch most of your videos, but this wasted my time and won't get a like. I'm sorry.
You assume that the only point of this channel is to show micro-soldering and glorious recoveries.
This video shows real repair shop experiences where customers send in their junk.
If this video wasted your time, then you must understand it was also a waste of time for Alex the shop owner. He is showing us real time footage of the situation.
👍👍👍👍

You are just talking alot bs but cannot fix anything hard only do jobs which can be done in 2 minutes. Shame.
Lol - you know all the values of the missing components then?
You can't fix a board if you have no way to determine the values of the missing parts.
You can always send him values for the missing components and see how simple it is
Ur videos are much more informative 😅
All the support u get in ur comments helps thanks 👍
clueless you are 🤦 shame on you
Love from Pakistan.
