I love how you take the time to absorb and experience the local culture, and understand the local people in all of the places you travel to, all the while documenting everything in a way that both informs and entertains. So many people in the creator space fail to accomplish this because they lack your genuiness. Keep up the good work!

Nice job Ethan. 10 years ago I took a boat ride from Siem Reap to Battambang. Those floating villages and life along the River were something I will never forget. Most of the world is spoiled and not happy. I loved SE Asia.

I had at least 3 or 4 thoughts emerged in me while I watched this unique travel report:
1)I admired the boundless ingenuity of people, who live on water in floating shacks, using whatever Nature provides for them, to raise families, and live a more or less normal life.
    2) I recalled that Cambodia a few decades ago went through a hellish period, when the Pol Pot dictatorship killed millions of them in a vicious, genocidal rampage. Long live Peace, Harmony and Prosperity, (because this is heavenly prosperity to the long-suffering Cambodians).
    3) I'm grateful for Ethan, the young presenter, who researched, discovered this unique place and made a thoroughly enjoyable travel journal.

What a wonderful experience! Thank you for showing my country! I wish you could come when it is rainy season (the rain isn't so nice when going about throughout the day), but the clear beautiful water that submerges all the rice fields is a beautiful sight! The water is clear and you can see everything when the sun is out. I remember my younger days (before I was adopted), the water would come up so high in my house, which was made of stilts and misc. woods, and I could fish through the cracks of my floor. LOL, and bathroom-wise, when the water was super high...well we perched like birds outside on a small deck that stuck out from the house... since my family had no toilets. TMI I know but they are precious memories! 🤗😂

I traveled to those same villages to provide water treatment and medical clinics.
Their toilets do dump into the water. The residents have frequent GI issues as a result. Their only water source is the lake, and they are often limited in the treatments the can perform on the water before consuming it.
It was such an eye-opening experience.

I wish you got to see the Sunset on the lake itself. There was some tours that would take you into the middle of the lake at Sunset, and it's such a beautiful experience because the lake is so big that you'd think you're in the middle of an ocean, but you'd hear birds noise all around you.

Like some others here, I lived (mostly) in Thailand for several decades; it was great fun to watch your discoveries but I refrained from making any 'me too' comments. These Cambodian videos, however, have crossed a very important line. You have become a documentarian who, at the same time, feels like a friend. That's quite an accomplishment ... please continue. I hope your itinerary includes Lao and Vietnam, and maybe a couple days in Singapore. Thank you.
