    Varget and H4350 usually works great with most powder throw in the market now. I think we would more likely to see you testing it with either very fine powder like CFE 223 and very big kernels powder like N570. Especially N570, it’s a very painful to run it in most powder throw machine on the market.

    Do you think it’s worth the more than 2X cost vs the autotrickler V4?

    • @CorwinBos
      @CorwinBos 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      For pure speed and accuracy, yes.
      I have a V3, this is faster. The V4 is slower than the V3. The AutoTricklers are great systems, but all of these systems are only as good and fast as the scale.
      If money is no option, sure, buy this. If you have a Autotrickler and need the extra speed, buy this. If you dont have anything, but want accuracy with a little less speed, buy the Autotrickler. If you need accuracy but need to break the cost up, buy the FX120i now, the Hornady vibrating trickler, which work quite well together, and then make the decision of the Ingenuity vs the Autotrickler later.

    • @jeffb.3052
      @jeffb.3052 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      "did not work out very well, so far" compared to what? the SuperTrickler is still an excellent system and while some of the firmware versions may have had issues, it will get better. The IP system is a different design and eliminates some of the issues that all of the others have. The simplicity of the IP system is IMO its biggest asset. What's to break over the life of it? the O ring and the controller, that's pretty much it and either of those are dead easy to fix/replace.

Nearly every control is the same on both of them but as I’ve said before, there are a few things that are easier to do on the controller and a few things that are easier on the app so there is a little give-and-take, but the phone is definitely not necessary.

      @@jeffreykoski1074 well ST should have some goodness coming with v3.x firmware but that only helps with charges and who knows how far out it is from release. I've heard that v2.20 was fine for the most part but versions after it were causing frustration. Firmware can't solve some of the design issues that all horizontal tube tricklers have which is spilled powder. That's not an AT or ST issue, it's simple physics. I use a lot of ball powders and some like H380 are round so of course round balls in a rotating or vibrating round tube leaves potential for spilled powder whereas a drop system like the IP uses for both bulk and trickle control this leaving bounce or user error as the only way you're going to get powder anywhere except the cup. If I only loaded stick powder, not sure I'd care and those are less $.
