    Hello Mr. Clark. Danny here again. You will have to forgive me. My wife and I have had the Covid Virus and are now just recovering from it. Wife is still in hospital but doing very good. Thank you for tying this streamer pattern. I learned another pattern I can put in my fly box that will catch Salmon and Trout. Your tutorials are great learning tools and I for one have been taught alot of valuable information from them. I have downloaded a library and your videos are among them. I sincerely hope you don't mind the download. I have purchased one of your books but never received it as of yet. Barry, I would like to see a fishing tutorial of you using your flys you tie. I know fish are finicky, but that tutorial would be a great learning tool. Thank you so much for hearing this old man talk. You are one of my favorite tyers. Have a great day.

    Excellent pattern there Barry. Little bit complicated but I’ll have a go (even though my jungle cock eyes look nothing like yours! lol). Thank you for another one dude.

    I watched this but never commented? How not like me! Actually I just wanted to say it is a beautiful streamer, reminds me of a Magog Smelt!

    Why do you use the wax? What does that do?

    • @Thefeatherbender
      @Thefeatherbender  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Kelly, fly tyers wax is very useful for attaching difficult or slippery materials it also stops your thread from un-winding.

    And yes, I'd rather see a slightly elongated head as well. Well tied! 😅

      Certain patterns require it ... Especially long flies.

    That Peacock Herl would last about as long as one fish being caught ... before it would completely break off.

      I use peacock on most of my sea trout flies and caught many on the same fly. It really does last longer than you'd think.

      I promise you that it doesn't Richard, about 70% if not more, of ALL traditional bucktails have a topping of peacock herl.
