For example; stuffed grape leaves (yaprak sarma), Chevirme (By Turkish: Çevirme or Döner), Kadayıf (dessert), Baklava (in Turkey Antep city is famous), Lahmacun (meat with bread), Künefe (In Hatay city famous - dessert - By Egyptian ; Kunafa), Sish Tavouq (Chicken kebap- by Turkish; Şiş Tavuk), Kofta (By Turkish; Köfte) etc... I can count such as many similar examples.

Kebab originates from the Semitic root k-b-b, meaning "to roast meat", with the oldest form found in Akkadian as kabābu meaning "to burn".

Even dolma originates in sumeria when people used to stuff vegetables though its name is turkish, it was only named that way during ottoman rule. It dates back to more than 2000bc before turks ruled which means its originally an iraqi dish.

Thanks for the instruction. What's the song title in the background? It's the same song in the hummus instruction. It'd be great listening to the song while stuffing grape leaves..... long long long enduring process.

It is better to mix the meat with the rice after cooking it 💕

(I know this is a bit late) it's better to have the rice washed, but not cooked. So when you put everything in the pot and cook it,the rice won't be overcooked. It will be cooked, so you don't need the boil the rice before putting it in the meat.

Maha love your videos! Hey, if you want the grape leaves more firm do you cook them less? Can you just fill with cooked rice and eat?

I've never seen such small thin ones...I've always had them more full and shorter. This looks like it's more leaf than filling.

I make mine with tomato paste just like how you make dolma.
