I think you are right about your theory regarding going away to play for England. I think Eddie overthinks things and overcomplicates things at times. I wanted to think he was just aware of stuff we weren’t. Now I don’t believe that. I think he has a stubborn mind and is inflexible. And now he’s being a little flexible in terms of early subs I think he is being pressured by his staff and talked into it. His way is leaving it until last minute. And keeping a lot of our best players on the bench so it looks like we have a strong bench. I don’t think that works in the way that he does it. Maybe keep a game changer back but not the ones he leaves out recently. Odd thinking. Personally I think he’s on his way out. Lost the players and his staff I reckon. No confidence in him
Those 1st diagrams Chris, looked like a 4-5-1. Wavering 4-3-3. Yes, 2nd half went 4-2-3 (no 1 as poor Isak got nowt), and was a bit better. But he himself did go looking for the ball, bless him.
