This is kind of an old comment so sorry to be late, but I actually took singing lessons from her for a year and 99% of what she taught me was rooted in “what is Christine THINKING, what is she FEELING?” she’s the real deal. It helped me tremendously.

I hate those idiotic comments about John and Katie, so what? John and Katie had amazing chemistry and they matched the characters like no other cast, except maybe for Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman. John & Katie are the best pairing. John deserved so much better than this travesty tour, cameron mackintosh is a goblin scumbag. He SHOULD have been the 25th concert phantom. I hate bootleggers so much, they should have recorded a video of John with Katie in poto west end back in 2011.
Katie sang this a lot better in the original. mackintosh and ALW are two boomer mercenary scumbags. John Owen Jones and Katie Hall should have been the 25th concert leads, they actually matched The Phantom and Christine unlike others people gush about. I so wish there was at least a video of John with Katie in poto 💔
I can't see her acting out emotions but I can hear it in her voice. She must have been phenomenal.
