I wish they would've skipped years into the future after this scene so that we could've saw older Cal, Olive, and Eden again and also Mick and Zeke being together and married again as well.
Oh Eden, I really really loved her character but it could be due to my baby fever. But Mick and Zeke falling in love at the end was perfection, what a bittersweet ending.

It was great that it got a proper ending instead of being cancelled and just finishing where it was at. Just like with Lucifer, which was a great show too.
When you think about it, the ending kinda sucks for the non-passenger characters, like Olive, who has such tremendous character growth and is just as responsible for helping save the world as her father and aunt, only for that to be wiped away.
I am sure that Ben and Michaela will try to fill them in :) I think it's an amazing opportunity for Olive to grow up with her father in her life, and not be separated by her twin. Cal gets his chance as well. The only person that I wish could remember is Zeke, but it is what it is.
This was exactly the ending I expected and hoped for. It might seem sorta like a cop-out to some, but it makes sense in all the right ways. This journey taught these people lessons they never could have learned without it. They suffered and lost and were put through so much pain and fear, yet despite it all they made it through. Angelina and the other ten who failed however, I'm sorry to say didn't make it becuz they made the wrong choices and did the wrong things. In spite of the things she did and said, I still feel sorry for Angelina; she was a victim too, of her parents' religious-motivated abuse, even before she ever stepped on that plane. The way they treated her when Flight 828 came back made it worse, and then losing Pete was the final straw that pushed her to becoming a monster when she murdered Grace and kidnapped Eden. Ben and Michaela and Saanvi led and guided the other 828ers well, and even Adrian and Eagan helped each other find redemption, and Cal, having carried the heaviest burden of them all, got the chance to grow up w/o having to go through all of that and even get the care he needed for his illness, thnx to Saanvi. I was sad that TJ and Olive were not meant to be, but it was so wonderful that he got his mom back. Ben got Grace back and despite being back to before Eden was born, he had faith she would be part of their lives becuz she was meant to be. The other surviving passengers, and even the ones they lost on the way, got to return to their lives as well, and make their lives better with what all that they had learned. Michaela found her happiness too, and the wisdom to understand that she and Jared were not meant to be, and she got the chance to be with Zeke, saving him from that fateful hike, and she finally made amends with Evie's parents and presumably resumed her friendship with Lourdes It was just as Ben and Mick's mom, Karen, always said, "All things work together for good."
This show had no reason being 4 seasons long when it had a beginning and ending that could've been resolved in 6 episodes. They overcomplicated this thing to shit because they obviously had no clue what the mystery was.
Maybe in the Lost kinda similar. But I love this serial. I usually rate most of movies as 1 out of 10 but this one is so touching. Although it's absolutely unreal. But I want to believe so bad that all people are connected and their souls will be in Heaven.
imagine after the last scene there would have been a cut - 11 years later - June 2, 2024 - the day of death that never happens. Ben hosts a garden party with some 828s. He gives a speech and then everyone drinks together. We see Michaela and Zeke happily married with children, we see Grace with a little Eden in her arms, we see Saanvi and Alex, Thomas and Leo, we see Eagen and Adrian as two kind-hearted men, friends of Ben. And last but not least, we see TJ meeting an Olive who is old enough by now. That would be the perfect ending for me
It's too bad that no non-828ers retained any memories of the timeline for when the plane had gone missing, because that entire journey had a large impact on them too. I wish somehow that they would find a way to bring their memories back. That's the sad thing about the series finale.
I loved Vance. He had a great relationship with Ben and Saanvi. Maybe Ben will help him? And perhaps when Olive gets older she could still be with TJ. And not have to risk his life almost like in the fire nor will she almost lose everyone she loves.
My Dad passed away in September 2022 and my life since then feels like an episode of Manifest. I left home in 2003 for school and have lived in different places for the past twenty years - had to move back home after twenty years which is strange in itself with him not being here. And looking back there are so many strange coincidences - the biggest one being in September 2005, when I moved from school to Atlanta for a job. The week of training, on that Friday morning, I had to excuse myself and go to the emergency room for pink eye. While I was there, I saw someone walk in with their hand on their chest with pain. From the sound of it, I assumed it was heart/cardio related. I never forgot that moment - it left a permanent memory in my mind. Exactly the same week seventeen years later - and I say exactly because 2005 and 2022 are identical years, each day has the same date - is when my Dad was rushed to the hospital with chest pain and died of a heart attack. He was diagnosed with diabetes in 2012, and high blood pressure in 2015. Add to this the stress of some rotten people making his life miserable (all related to money of course). In a way, he got what he wanted - he didn't want to go through intense, long term suffering with long-term treatments and hospital visits - just wanted his exit from this world to be quick and least painful as possible. Hopefully, he is relaxing now in a better place. But when I think back, there are just other coincidences in dates/times etc. that make me wish I had seen that day coming. Maybe things will come back full-circle somehow in a way that is not necessarily perfect, but at least brings closure and a new start - sort of like this episode of Manifest.
I just loved everything about this finale, especially grace saying “don’t get on another plane” en michaela searching for zeke at the taxi’s like she remembered he was working then 😭😭😭
Just finished this show yesterday and i love it. Literally a great show. I even love at the end and during the series how it shows how much she actually loved zeke. She realizes how her and jared want other thing's. It also shows that you shouldnt take anything in life for granted, especially the people and family you love.
But at eh beginning she behaved like a jelaous b*tch. He was married and she said she must return her life! Jared and her friend got married thinking she was dead but she slept with Jared knowing that his wife is alive. As for Zeke it's one of my favourite characters. As for Ben's wife I like this actress but not the character. She started to live with other men soon after her son and husband ''died''.
This feels a bit like the ending to Jumanji. Once the game finally ended all the time that passed once the game started just completely reversed wiping out decades of time.
Love the ending. And I really hope this is the same timeline and time was just reset, because otherwise it would mean that the passengers left on their lifeboat and everyone else in that timeline like Olive, Eden, Drea and Jared either died at the apocalypse or are living in a broken world without their loved ones
I haven't watched season 4 yet but from the clips I saw it looks like the timeline did not reset and as the plane was going the apocalypse/lava finished and so they survived.
@@DCCrisisclips they repented for their sins ben had to forgive Angelina and they faced death literally and everything was restored the passengers remember everything they got a do over a changes to do it right romans8:28.
I kinda didnt like some aspect of the finale. olive and cal lost all they worked to become, im glad they get their childhood back but i wish they still had all that history and methodology knowledge they worked for years on, i also felt sad that TJ and olive lost each other, vance also never met ben, their friendship was so special, it was a bittersweet ending but i still loved it.
That was the point, I believe. Olive got her mom back, her grandma back, she got her twin back as a kid at the same age she was and got her father to be there during the most crucial time of a child's life. TJ got his mom back and got to keep his friendship with Ben, but yes, Olive and TJ lost each other. The point is, if you get to do it over again, a price still has to be paid. Even when you get something great back, you have to give up something equally as wonderful. We often think about bad things happening in our lives and wish we could go back and keep ourselves from doing those things, but even bad things begat good things. It was heartbreaking about TJ and Olive, but at the same time, look what they gained.
Good thing that the co pilot, who took daly's place was a good person and didn't implode on that flight. Most of the time mick wasn't even in the cockpit. 😅
I was kind of expecting Mick to return to the cockpit and him having already turned to ashes. Followed by the usual heroes landing a plane trope. 😂 Thank goodness the writers were more creative than me, that would have sucked 🤣
This was such a perfect ending!! I had a feeling and was so badly hoping this is how it would end. I started this series with my mom when the pandemic started, she did not want to believe this was the last season 😂😂
I don't view it as a ''happy ending'' , all the non- passengers didnt have any memory of what had happened because the 5½years like zeke didnt even know Michela.. grace didnt know what had happened, cal lost his memory .. tj and olive :-( ,vance and Ben's friendship ,i know that atleast grace and Zeke are alive but they really should make a season 5 where the passengers manage to renew the memory
In the original timeline Cal would've been dead since he sacrificed himself for the other passengers, so even though coming back as a kid isn't the most ideal scenario, he would've been dead if he didn't. Plus, Olive wouldn't have had to endure all of that trauma of losing her father and brother so in the end I think it's a gift for both of them.
@@geographylover6028 I wish they at least flash forward to 6 years in the future or whatever it was, so we can see 20 year old Olive and Cal again so we had a hint of them ended up where they would have ended up anyways. Like with Olive In college studying mythology and Ben and Saanvi still best friends or something.
@@gabrielacanette5485 She never added to the story at all. If you compare Grace to Jared it is night at day. Jared wasn't on the plane but played a huge role in helping the 828ers and Michaela. Grace did nothing but be Ben's wife. Manifest had so many strong woman characters that it made Grace looks unnecessary.
❤❤❤ Ame el final muy emotivo, imposible conectarte con el reencuentro de cada personaje. Una manera única de explicar una redención, y de volver a empezar desde el pasado. Excelente Final a diferencia de la serie Lost.
This ending scene reminds me so much of Lost final episode . The way everyone was waiting at a church for reunion. The idea of time seemed to have gone too
Yeah. Was thinking about that too. Except that in lost the ending they went from purgatory to heaven/after life. Still wondering. Was that world they went to in manifest a kind of alternative universe that the transendent beings/god(what ever entity it was) used to trial the humanity or was it simulated universe etc?
@@GhatiusLost wasn't purgatory to afterlife, everything on the island was real. The island essentially was. judging them as people and giving them the chance to redeem/cleanse their souls. Then gives them the power to manifest the sideways universe where they can find peace. They were all still alive until they truly died, at all different times in life. tbh manifest had a lot of very very similar concepts. It was directly supposed to be its og network's answer to Lost(with a lot of the og 4400 thrown in)
In my view point cal doesn’t remember is maybe because he couldn’t be judge due to growth. As a child he didn’t comment crimes, felt greed, selfishness, or hatred. In the eyes of god he was pure. He did have that issue in trusting Angeline but you can’t blame him, because child’s view point is different compared to an adult. I know cal had time jump, but again when became a teen did he still have that child mindset or mature within the divine consciousness? Because time and space works differently…the future they were in doesn’t not exist anymore when they face judgement and went back.
Now they have to prevent Ben's mother cancer and save all the people they saved since 2018 remembering the future. I hope Anna Ross resurrected too because she deserves it, is Erika who failed and don't deserve it.
Why do you think that?? Jared was the one who was possessive, controlling and toxic towards Mick and guilt tripped her the whole time she was just trying to move on and be happy. When was she ever toxic/bad to him?
@@Proximity- I love both but mick was more loyal Jared dated her best friend than her partner so it's always someone close to mick but mick was loyal to zeke while she still loved Jared she said she chose him and always will but her and Jared wanted different things mick was hesitant when if he was the one for her she wouldn't be..
Yes! Mr. and Mrs. Shepherd are alive, Peter and Judy obviously with no memory of Alan and Sarah because it went back in time to 1989. only Alan and Sarah remember them as they were in the beginning of the film
Few days ago I completed TBBT it also has perfect ending. Now manifest has also satisfying ending. What the hell happened with GOT writers..why they ruined it. This is how you end a show..
I can tell you exactly what happened. They rushed their way through season 8 because they had an opportunity to work on another show and wanted to take it
Rewatching this I think the entire world got a do over starting on because Volcanos were erupting everywhere on the land while they were on the plane. I think everyone’s memory was wiped clean and sent back to April 7th 2013 except for the passengers memory of course.
Fantastic.! I just really hated Michaela for breaking Jared’s heart like five times. I was rooting for them till the end. I love Zeek but Jared the most.!!!
@@jw5425no they only married in the 5 years later (in 2018 when the plane landed). But this takes place in 2013 after the normal trip, where the last thing Jared did was propose
That’s the only part I didn’t like, and it was only done to make Zeke’s character arc work, I actually forgot about him until she ran outside to the cabs lol. Although Mikami wasn’t a bad choice, she was a good friend and partner to Mikhaela and I was happy that She and Jared had a baby. Things were just meant to be that way.
@cobrakairobloxenthusiast4291 the divine consciousness doesn't have to equal "God". As such, he could have orchestrated all the circumstances throughout the entire series. Why? I don't know, nor would I presume to know the mind of "God".
The only thing that is ok with this ending for me is Angelina's death Zeke and Mick and Grace coming back i was so broken when she died and when Zeke died but rest🤔🤔
“Nothing that happens is ever forgotten, even if you can’t remember it.” ~ Zeniba, Spirited Away (2001) I hope this quote may come in handy for those concerned about most of them forgetting what happened. 😊
This ending was good but also sad it’s was a lot lost. Eden isn’t born yet , The stones want have that great relationship with Vance , Saanvi and Ben aren’t together.
Think about it though- If Ben knows Eden is gonna be born eventually, that is a prime do over considering for some of Eden's early years, she thought Angelina was her real mother. That kind of trauma is gonna have a lasting impact on anyone. But yeah, that does suck about Vance. I hope they reconnect at some point through the 11 missing passengers.
Saanvi and Ben are still connected when Grace says “there’s a doctor that can cure Cal?” She’ll see them work together tirelessly and only trusts Cal with Saanvi
Families do not get to meet passengers coming off a plane. The passengers would’ve had to get out of the terminal before meeting up with most of the family members.
not to apply any kind of logic to this show, of all things, but since they came in on an earlier flight they didn't have to leave the airport and probably just waited at the gate/walked to the other flights gate without leaving through security
Olive and Grace never left the terminal. In the table read it was revealed that Grace said to Ben that Olive wanted to wait for their flight to come back (even though that line didn't make the show). That's why they were there when the 828’ers got off the plane.
Its sad to think TJ got the worst ending. He lost the love of his life Olive. Also if we believe in the Multiverse therory, then the timeline where old olive and aden were living still exists but with NO 828ers. So eden and olive are all alone with only Jaren, Drea and Vance
I mean TJ got back his mom, which is awesome! If soulmates do exist, they'll probably end up together when she's older. The age gap is too much at this point, but it balances out when you're an adult. I honestly am trying to think it's only one universe and they just traveled in time to erase that future, because the thought of Olive and Eden alone makes me really sad. Also the thought of Jared not having Mick in his life as a friend makes me sad as well. Idk
@@mari-khaleesi I am willing to bet that if the show was not cancelled, then s5 or s6 would have been a manifest spinoff that focuses on the missing 11 passengers and maybe the other timeline with new characters
I came here to say the same thing. Seemed a little corny and light on details at first, but a few shows in and I got it and I was hooked. BEST series ending, EVER.
What I can guess is that it's important to 'something' for the 828ers to apply all 5 years of knowledge they got after landing in 2018 to 2013 society.
Jared spent years still in love with Mich, then she comes back and says it's over, and he just quickly forgets and is enchanted by Drea? Doesn't make much sense to me.
I think it makes sense. The reason why he's so haunted in season one was because of the trauma of losing her so abruptly and never getting an answer for his proposal. But remember that in the first chapters is implied that their relationship was already complicated due evies death, and he was afraid of losing her. Now that she didn't disappear, was a clean break up, and without the trauma, he was able to respond appropriately to the end of the relationship. Ending that it was already established that he was seeing it coming anyway.
Really good catch! I was going to say that it makes sense for Grace to have been there since she had been on the other flight, but you’re right about the others.
@@charliesikes1116 The real flaw is that none of the passengers were kept at the airport while Vance figures out how 11 people disappeared. There's no way in hell that they don't get locked down and interrogated over it.

Way to undo years of character development for Olive , Jared, Drea, and all non-828ers
the way ben ran to grace that's true love right there

Nah Grace, not at all. Like a walk in the park 🤣
Best Ending I've ever seen ,😢 great job.. director .
Unfortunately in real life there is no miracle although we need it so much. All people on the Earth. We can see Evil but no Good.
When I saw this scene actucally I was crying.... 😢😭❤️❤️❤️✈️ best series ever ... Love u 828 passengers ❤🛫🛬
The best ending I could have asked for! ❤❤
Just wonder how the young Caleb Looks as young as the first season.
Young Cal was CGI and young Olive was a different actress
Always getting that goosebumps when watching this last scene.
This feels a bit like the ending to Jumanji. Once the game finally ended all the time that passed once the game started just completely reversed wiping out decades of time.
Love the ending. And I really hope this is the same timeline and time was just reset, because otherwise it would mean that the passengers left on their lifeboat and everyone else in that timeline like Olive, Eden, Drea and Jared either died at the apocalypse or are living in a broken world without their loved ones
yeahhh ikr!
I haven't watched season 4 yet but from the clips I saw it looks like the timeline did not reset and as the plane was going the apocalypse/lava finished and so they survived.
@@DCCrisisclipsYou should be watching season 4 before you watch these spoiler videos.. lol

I kinda didnt like some aspect of the finale.
olive and cal lost all they worked to become, im glad they get their childhood back but i wish they still had all that history and methodology knowledge they worked for years on, i also felt sad that TJ and olive lost each other, vance also never met ben, their friendship was so special, it was a bittersweet ending but i still loved it.
it was like a dream or the future ,no1 would remember that, i didnt happen yet so your comment wouldn't make sense
@Mr K he did he wasnt on the plane so everything is normal for him even future him is old ,but that was 828 future
I was so happy to see Vance again, on the case.

The song is awesome. It fits perfectly with the airport ending scene.
@@timothylee2772 indeed
I don't view it as a ''happy ending'' , all the non- passengers didnt have any memory of what had happened because the 5½years like zeke didnt even know Michela.. grace didnt know what had happened, cal lost his memory .. tj and olive :-( ,vance and Ben's friendship ,i know that atleast grace and Zeke are alive but they really should make a season 5 where the passengers manage to renew the memory
No they really shouldn't..... thatbkind of eliminates the whole point
They can always just become friends again. Minor negatives in a reset are ok.

OMG YESS I NEED ITTT
Eagan is making lots of money from the sporting events, cause he knows the winners
Am I the only one that wished Grace stayed dead? Also I was sad that Olive and Cal went back to kids and lost all of who they worked to become.
Like with Olive In college studying mythology and Ben and Saanvi still best friends or something.
the dragon version of cal died, and the older version of Olive lives in that other reality.
Why people doesn't like Grace?
@@gabrielacanette5485 She never added to the story at all. If you compare Grace to Jared it is night at day. Jared wasn't on the plane but played a huge role in helping the 828ers and Michaela. Grace did nothing but be Ben's wife. Manifest had so many strong woman characters that it made Grace looks unnecessary.
I just watched the end of Manifest. honestly I Cried as a Baby. I watched the four seasons
I wouldn't mind a Prequel Series focused on Al-Zuras & what happened to all his Shipmates!
Or a new series involving the omega sapphire.
Seeing President Obama is so refreshing!
Why, he was a useless president?
❤❤❤ Ame el final muy emotivo, imposible conectarte con el reencuentro de cada personaje. Una manera única de explicar una redención, y de volver a empezar desde el pasado. Excelente Final a diferencia de la serie Lost.
I need to do this bc I didn’t buy a house in 2013 in 10th grade before getting priced out
This ending scene reminds me so much of Lost final episode .
It was directly supposed to be its og network's answer to Lost(with a lot of the og 4400 thrown in)
" Are we in haven? Think we're in Queens" lol Haven on Earth
They should make the first episode during the Same year then the first season. Young Caleb does not look like a kid who grew up during 5-6 years
In my view point cal doesn’t remember is maybe because he couldn’t be judge due to growth.
Ben says why, he was given his childhood back. That couldn't work if he remembers.
Now they have to prevent Ben's mother cancer and save all the people they saved since 2018 remembering the future. I hope Anna Ross resurrected too because she deserves it, is Erika who failed and don't deserve it.
Best series ever ❤
Great ending. They were some of the most frustrating and short memory characters on a show I've watched in a while though.
Mick don’t deserve Jared he’s too good for her
Way too good ngl. She belongs to Zeke though. Jared is the most loyal character ive ever seen.
Its like Jumanji film when everything isnt real just enter whole new world and comeback to real life again
Yes! Mr. and Mrs. Shepherd are alive, Peter and Judy obviously with no memory of Alan and Sarah because it went back in time to 1989. only Alan and Sarah remember them as they were in the beginning of the film
I need a spin off called after the glow.
They ended this show amazingly
Few days ago I completed TBBT it also has perfect ending.
Now manifest has also satisfying ending.
What the hell happened with GOT writers..why they ruined it.
This is how you end a show..
I can tell you exactly what happened. They rushed their way through season 8 because they had an opportunity to work on another show and wanted to take it
The most satisfied end of all confindus series!
Grave even looked more gorgeous than Season 1.
Rewatching this I think the entire world got a do over starting on because Volcanos were erupting everywhere on the land while they were on the plane. I think everyone’s memory was wiped clean and sent back to April 7th 2013 except for the passengers memory of course.
that means all the people born in the last 5 years were wiped from existence. aka died. poor Eden, Hope, and Chloe
@@gwp4eva i think they will reborn
You got a cold heart if you didn’t feel happiness at the end for all the passengers

@@gwp4evan the other timeline the mother in question was murdered. Besides Ben said it himself he wanted to have a third child again.
Fantastic.! I just really hated Michaela for breaking Jared’s heart like five times. I was rooting for them till the end. I love Zeek but Jared the most.!!!
my question is where was her friend the one who married Jared? she should have been there in the end
@@jw5425no they only married in the 5 years later (in 2018 when the plane landed). But this takes place in 2013 after the normal trip, where the last thing Jared did was propose
I was also thinking the same..Jared loved Michaela till end
That’s the only part I didn’t like, and it was only done to make Zeke’s character arc work, I actually forgot about him until she ran outside to the cabs lol. Although Mikami wasn’t a bad choice, she was a good friend and partner to Mikhaela and I was happy that She and Jared had a baby. Things were just meant to be that way.
Am jst really great full to the writer for an unexpected turn of event and a great ending.such a brilliant mind.wow👏
It occurred to me that the one who orchestrated the whole thing could have been the Asian man with the dragon tattoo.
What would he have orchestrated though?
@cobrakairobloxenthusiast4291 the divine consciousness doesn't have to equal "God". As such, he could have orchestrated all the circumstances throughout the entire series. Why? I don't know, nor would I presume to know the mind of "God".
The only thing that is ok with this ending for me is Angelina's death Zeke and Mick and Grace coming back i was so broken when she died and when Zeke died but rest🤔🤔

It’s crazy how we all felt when Grace died. That’s exactly how broken Ben was too- so this ending was satisfying and very much needed

What if this is there heaven
@@julesmerlo6247true as the other passengers saw their family members afterwards.
That's the only thing that stood out to you as unbelievable in this show? Lol
So eden and olive are all alone with only Jaren, Drea and Vance
that timelines must've been erased tho because of all the volcanoes
@@FuriousPho3nix I hope you’re right because It would be sad seeing Olive and Eden never reunite with their family
Idk
@@FuriousPho3nix if its erased then how does saanvi still have gunshit wound and ben has that dragon

Supongo que les preocupaba más los desaparecidos
I want to say honestly, Ben and Mick saved all those passengers!

Yeah but for me Cal saved their lives.
I think it will be better if they continue to stay in 2024 after surviving.
I am so glad someoneFinn ally said that I thought the whole going back to 2011 was Dupitt
I hope they exchanged contact info so they can keep in touch

I don’t love how the show ended, but then again idk how else I would have wanted it to end.
This showw is So perfect✨❤️
What about the lives they saved
Maybe the universe/God/Devine consciousness will find some way to bring them there.
beautiful ending im fine with it (:
What I can guess is that it's important to 'something' for the 828ers to apply all 5 years of knowledge they got after landing in 2018 to 2013 society.
Jared spent years still in love with Mich, then she comes back and says it's over, and he just quickly forgets and is enchanted by Drea? Doesn't make much sense to me.
Do you not see the future 🤦🏾♂️. My lord y’all is make me sick😂😂😂.
Didn't you watch the finale, makes all the sense
I think it makes sense. The reason why he's so haunted in season one was because of the trauma of losing her so abruptly and never getting an answer for his proposal.
But remember that in the first chapters is implied that their relationship was already complicated due evies death, and he was afraid of losing her. Now that she didn't disappear, was a clean break up, and without the trauma, he was able to respond appropriately to the end of the relationship. Ending that it was already established that he was seeing it coming anyway.
It’s all connected
She broke up with him so they could hook up with people they haven't met yet?
You gotta have hope
Minor flaw: Since the Sept. 11 terrorists’ attack, awaiting family members aren’t allowed in airport terminals next to passengers deplaning.
great catch
Really good catch! I was going to say that it makes sense for Grace to have been there since she had been on the other flight, but you’re right about the others.
911 didn’t happen in this tv show
Steven Karen, Grace, and Olive were on an earlier flight. They never left the terminal. They waited for the arriving flight. Not a flaw in the least.
@@charliesikes1116 The real flaw is that none of the passengers were kept at the airport while Vance figures out how 11 people disappeared. There's no way in hell that they don't get locked down and interrogated over it.
