We love you and your journey zach. I've been watching you since i started running last year and im happy your sticking with the running content. Whatever you choose to do in the future ill still thank you for all the great running content you've put out
Thank you for doing some running content, you've helped me so much with my running, and I'm glad you're getting back into it, I was injured this track season and am finally running pain free for the first time in 5 months so I'm glad ill have some new Zach levet videos to watch to keep me going.
Dudes got the innate talent but no love for the sport. Plus with the influencer cash why bother pushing thru a hard block of training / adversity. Early 20s though it’s tough, I can’t bash the dude too hard, live your life.
Randomly thought of your channel tonight for the first time since last summer. Checked my subscriptions page, and this video was the first, posted 23 minutes ago.
Doesn't sound like you're "really serious" if it took until 10:30 at night to go for a run, when you don't have a job. If you had enough time to wait around for the Logan Paul fight, you had enough time to go for a run. it's not like you're running a hundred miles a week either, I'm sure your "six days of consistent running" consists of three to five miles at a time. You have a reasonable amount of talent, what you did as a freshman shows that you could probably get under 30 minutes in the 10,000 m. This would be fast enough to go under 2:20 if you are adequately trained. It's not like that is the holy grail, and will bring eternal happiness, or enlightenment, but the quest for 219 might be enough to keep your subscribers tuning in. What you have been doing lately won't cut it.
Proud of you for running again but just my two cents: maybe you wanna approach this comeback as a beginner / just focus on easy base building miles. Keep goals attainable and play the long game
Bro listening to this podcast and just found out your working with ryan and have been the guy editing these videos during his penny series and bro.. just wanna say you inspire me homie. seeing pieces of the journey is amazing. keep growing and moving with opportunity. it really does inspire people to keep going. thank you!
I just recently returned to running after 3 years. It happens. Glad we’re back! Let’s get after it! 💥 your 1st easy mile was my marathon race pace lol. I’m 53 though . You look like you have lots of natural talent.
Dude you keep me running and staying focused. I too am doing a return to running, had a surgery unrelated to running and had to take a month off. With PRs in the mile of 4:49, 5k of 15:56, and a half marathon of 1:13:21, I was pretty disappointed. Started 5 days ago barely being able to run 9 minute mile pace for more than 30 minutes, then today I did everything in my power to lower my lactate levels and did an awesome cut down of 15 minutes at 8:03 mile pace, 15 minutes at 7:27 pace, and then finally 15 minutes at 5:58 pace, continuously I might add. I feel so tired took a lot of strength. So about a 10k in 43:48. Ill keep you posted every video so we can both our progression to getting better!!
what i've noticed from all the youtube runners make a big deal out of it all.. it's all about having a good balance in daily life. you don't have to run every day to make good times! when I myself did my pb 2.16 at the marathon, I did a 12 week training plan. where I ran between 140-165km and always had 1 rest day per week .. one of the key sessions was the 40km long run where the last 15-20km were at marathon speed. have never been a full-time runner, but I had a completely normal full-time office job..
I remember in like 6 grade I used to just wait for the Zach levet and athlete special videos to come out and watch them with my friends. Can’t wait for more videos!
I also had a question for anyone seeing this. (Probably no one). I'm starting cross country this year and really want to increase my pace. I can run long distances and have a respectable mile and 5k times but I just really want to work harder and get faster. So I what would be the best way to increase my pace for longish distances (2-5 miles).
Run with people that make you better mentally and physically. I didn’t learn that lesson until my senior year and I dropped 20 seconds in the mile and 2 and a half minutes in 5k
Sign up for the Long Beach Marathon. Flat fast course. It'll help you keep yourself accountable. That's what I did. I haven't ran consistently in 7 years and now its my third week of consistent running and there's no way I'm going to half ass it. Or else that marathon will be brutal.
if you're back, then i'm back. yo - do me one thing: sign up for a 50k trail run. i just see you finding the 'get-out-the-door' inspiration with some delicious trails in your training mix.
i will never forget the day when one time u put say peanut butter or sum in the description as a secret and i saw it and u noticed and liked my comment
Same here! I am getting physical therapy! My therapist said with physical therapy, I could get back to move in 6 months since my injury is severe and I am heavy 🙉
Something that young runners don't understand... The clock on your career is ticking, those days will never come back. My two cents... Pretend that you don't have any time to waste and hit it hard.
Yay it’s his 10th comeback!!
Fr
10th time is always the charm
Chances he actually keeps this up?
It’s cap. Always cap
Looooool
Zach, you can’t keep getting away with this. This is your 30th “comeback”. How bout you come back home instead, the kids miss you
imagine getting sponsored by Hoka and then immediately quitting running
Did Hoka crack the whip??? Lol
The return of the king 👑
Just when the world needed him the most, he returned. Btw, love the videos Parker.
Love that book and movie
He is gonna have a mindset switch in 2 months again where he starts vloging again
One month!!!
It takes a serious level of Gen-Z entitlement to sign to Hoke One One, then just stop training all together.
Really sad man, how many people would like to have a chance like that to work their way into running, not counting the financial side
We love you and your journey zach. I've been watching you since i started running last year and im happy your sticking with the running content. Whatever you choose to do in the future ill still thank you for all the great running content you've put out
turned froma 2:25 marathoner into a runner without a watch
If there has ever been a poster child for the dangers of social media and weed
Gotta vape the weed Zach, easier on the lungs. Won’t help the motivation part tho.
@@tboss8157 He smokes???

There’s one thing that a man can give that has the most value and that’s his word. Prove us right Zach.
god i hope he does. hopefully he kept his promise that he made over a year ago now
I have very low hope

“Getting back into it”
*continues to run **6:26** avg pace long run*
Fr, I was expecting him to drop some 7’s Not conversation pace at sub 6:30 lmao
I came for this comment.
Yep just getting back into running after 4 years off with similar PRs to Zach and I'm struggling to run sub 8:30
Bro listening to this podcast and just found out your working with ryan and have been the guy editing these videos during his penny series and bro.. just wanna say you inspire me homie. seeing pieces of the journey is amazing. keep growing and moving with opportunity. it really does inspire people to keep going. thank you!
And by now he's already stopped running again
LETS GO!! IM SO EXCITED YOUR RUNNING VIDEOS ARE BACK
We’ve been waiting
This is the content we’re looking for

Keep it going! I'll for sure be watching the upcoming vids as I need some encouragement too.

I have the same mile PB but I can't even get near those other times. I am a middle distance runner though.
Yessir, great to see you back running. Keep on that grind bro 🏆
i hit the lick button, not because i need Zach Levet to make running content but because i like to see him happy. :)
What will happen whit the 13:59 5 k project?
Remember when he said he was trying to go sub 14?????
I was literally thinking about the next Zach Levet blog today, crazy
Come on Zach! You can keep going!
Let’s gooooo the goat of running TH-cam is back
Yesss!!! So excited for this and so happy to see you excited about running again too Zach!
Subbed for the running and ill stay for the running 😤
Love it! So happy you’re back

love to watch you running 🔥🔥🔥 , im your fans from Malaysia 🇲🇾🇲🇾
This is the best day of my life!
Good luck with the comeback, Zach. Looking forward to seeing you get back in shape and seeing what that brings.
I remember in like 6 grade I used to just wait for the Zach levet and athlete special videos to come out and watch them with my friends. Can’t wait for more videos!
@Baum Squad it was like 6-7 grade ig lol I’m gonna be a sophmore.
Stop stressing about running every day man, its killing the vibe for you.
Awesome man, love seeing this!

I can run long distances and have a respectable mile and 5k times but I just really want to work harder and get faster. So I what would be the best way to increase my pace for longish distances (2-5 miles).
What exactly is the question?
Consistency and alternating types of runs at differing pacing. Just play around for summer miles
Run with people that make you better mentally and physically. I didn’t learn that lesson until my senior year and I dropped 20 seconds in the mile and 2 and a half minutes in 5k
Recover hard
Rest days and recovery run days are important
Don’t do hard runs every day
Now this is what we want! Sorry Zach for not backing up ur other content.
Bro I was waiting for this!!
yesss zach pls keep it up me and my friends are training like theres no tmr for hs xc and track and id be awesome to have u along for the ride :)
The moment we have all been waiting for🤣
I’m happy your back on the grind!
Oh it's going down! 🙌
Great job on the long run! ❤❤❤👟
Dude just admit you’re not a runner anymore . It’s more painful to watch you pretend then just to admit it and move on with your life.
Take your time getting back in it zach! I'm excited to watch

Oh yea, Zach. Please upload to strava.
Love that route, have done it a couple of times while visiting Venice beach on vacation and then hitting abbot Kinney St for something to eat
Zach what is better running on the treadmill or outside? I have a feeling I know what your going to say I just want to get your perspective on it
Running outside
This is the content that I like!
I love that route, I have done it couple of times while traveling to Venice beach on vacation and then go to abbot Kinney street after the run
The hoka Clifton 8 cushioning is nice but I found that the shoe tended to get warm after mile 3 which is unfortunate,
I’ll be rooting for you👑
We love productive habits, especially running :)
Great to see back to running zach ! Btw what software did you use for the thumbnail pic ?
