That stupid cowboy game Red Dead Redemption came out a week before and hogged all the spotlight. People would rather play that western crap than play Blur, Split/Second and even ModNation Racers as well since it also came out the same week. Blur and Split/Second were seriously gonna have sequels and they both get canceled. It’s still such a huge shame. F*ck Red Dead Redemption.
2010 was a rough year for a racing game Blur had to compete with split second velocity and other pre established games like nfs hot pursuit, Gran Turismo 5 and a sonic racers if I'm not mistaken.
It is so sad to know that people only started knowing more about blur when it was already over :( I would love to see a blur sequel but we know that this is impossible

I wish somebody making racing games would find this and see how many people absolutely loved this type of game and made a new version with y'know all the jazz, new graphics even though they were already amazing. New modes and everything, i swear on my soul that the game would blow up with the right timing, advertisement and patience

good news, i’m planning to make a game that is just like blur and its supposed to have the mechanics of the second game, including the wall driving, different handling, and driving upside down. the only downside is that i cannot have licensed cars, and the graphics might not be as crisp as the sequel seems, but even tho this is my concept and i am a beginner at making games, just keep a look out and blur 2 will probably be possible 😉

I finished the game hungry for more and then i heard about the cancelled blur 2 project. I was devastated in so many ways coz the game was extremely fun and engaging. This comment is for those who REALLY think this game deserves a sequel coz it can still happen, i know it. Like if u want the sequel, it might not do a lot but at least it can raise more awareness. thx for staying till the end, i guess.
Asphalt 9 and Super mario cart power ups mashed together to make a nice game kinda sad that this is the first time ive heard of this game and its sequel is already scrapped

its a shame because the game is underrater, a lot underrated, Maybe its because it came out at a bad time when populars games like GT5 and Need For Speed Shift came out. My theory is that if it would came out a bit earlier people would love this game and ask for a Sequel or a DLC

this might have just been one of the most played games ever only thing is that everyone had a cracked version of it as it was pretty easy to get and there was nothing that you couldnt do more on the purchased version
Dude i still play it to this day,i have so many good memories of this game ,i beat it like 3 times ,i wish blur 2 was a thing ,they probably couldve fnished developing it despite the awful sales of the first game,since there was also split second released at the same time period ,its just sad that blur 2 was canclled ,wouldve been such a good game. Maybe it will be finnished at some point

Blur was a great game but didn't have a lifespan like project Gotham so for them to compare sells to a game that had over a 5 year life span making multiple games of is ridiculous. Blur would have been huge if it stayed and was promoted better Activision is dying with every game they make so they need to bring back old ideas.
