I am super excited to grow Lisianthus from seed this year for the first time! I am in love with your greenhouse and hope to have one similar one day! xo
So exciting for you Erin. Fist batch of seeds 😊 I also was noticing your mic. Is it fairly new ? The sound quality was so ruff last spring, it was hard to understand you at times. 2025 is looking to be great!! See you soon ❤
Hi there, I noticed you were wearing a jumper with loose sleeve ends when sowing the Lisianthus seed. The cuffs were catching the seed mix and possibly may have caught some seeds....you wouldn't have realised. Probably a good time to either roll loose cuffs up or wear a tighter sleeve and cuff.
I wish I had an outdoorsy area to fill my trays. Also, I’m dreading having to wash my seeding trays and maintaining them. But excited to start seeds nonetheless!
Please give updates on the Lisianthus growth. I've been trying to grow them for a couple of seasons and haven't got anything bigger than the first set of leaves. Thanks!
Hi Erin. I need guidance with vermiculite. I order and I have received it so small it was coffee ground size, then so big it wasn’t right for cells. Are there grades? If so what grade do you have there today? Thanks so so much 🎉

Have already started my lisianthus, they have germinated in 2 weeks, with no heat mat. Thank you for sharing your knowledge

I only have 72 cell count trays, can I start my lizzys in that size?
of course! it's more a matter of space than size. Go for it
First year growing Eucalyptus. Which variety do you recommend for wrapped bouquets?
baby blue is a classic
Thank you!@@gingersflorals
Do you keep trays on the heat matts throughout the entire time prior to transplanting outside, or just until they germinate?
Just until they’re germinated
