I would prefer Mocha Mousse as a dessert or a wall color instead of flowers, unless they're seed heads like the scabiosa seed heads. 😅

Great first episode of the season! I'm growing 'Painted Tongue' (Salpiglossis sinuata) for the first time this year, and there is a variety called 'Cafe au Lait' that looks very promising for the Mocca Mouse theme. 🙂

Oh, how beautiful - that will go perfectly with the “Mocha Mousse” color story! 🤎 Best of luck, and happy 2025! 🎊🤗🎊

Happy New Year to both of you and your viewers. Have you noticed your customers do ask for the Pantone Color of the year when you are selling to florists or directly to the customer?

You mentioned that bunny tails are a cool flower so I hopped over the your website to see if they were hardy for my zone 6a/5b to over winter, but on the website they are listed as a warm season annual.
I think bunny tails being a cool flower may be a newer discovery for the team, so perhaps it’s just not updated yet on the website. Does the team have any details at this point about what zone they are hardy too?

Thank you for sharing this about color of the year! I had no idea! Mocha is rich as well; I use a bamboo flower that dries mocha-ish, I also like plantago flowers. I love ping pong scabiosa when the seeds first start forming when the seed pods are green-they do last long in a vase and are super cute! As far as enjoying them dried, I’ve tried hanging them upside down even at the earliest stages but they still continue to develop and lose little stars if they are knocked. Do you have any tips for keeping them in tact?
