why doesn't lego contact you to turn these into actual sets, these are so freaking good

Wait does the instructions come with the pieces? Like with stickers an all and do the trucks come with couplers now

@@Junction_Shorts They have a list of pieces attached which you can import into bricklink. And the trucks don't have couplers but you can just buy Lego chains!

I love how you manage to create such accurate models without using illegal building techniques, even up until now. Seriously, your hand drawn faces combined with all your amazing handwork can easily rival ertl’s work in the mid 90’s. Great work, as always.

That looks amazing. You did a good job on making Edward in your own image. I do hope you can build Henry, Gordan, Nia, Ashima, Emily, Bertie the bus and Bulgy the double decker bus (with his vegetable bus version). And you can build them in your own time and I will be happy to watch your awesome videos of the Thoams & Friends in mini lego form.

Larry I'll have to say Edward looks fantastic and the part of the end where you filmed a shot from one of the episodes with your Lego Thomas engines that was so good. And plus when you build Gordon in future I want to say using the big wheels is a great idea. It matches the size of Gordon's Wheels they're gigantic.

This has got to be one of your greatest customs yet! I think that for couplings you could also use handcuff pieces attached to the grey pieces that represent couplings. I'm not sure if it would flex enough but it might be worth a shot!
I definitely would have tried handcuffs had I thought of it, but the chains are far more flexible! Thanks for the shout though

I’m stealing your couple design
If you build James, you can reuse the exact same design of Edward and modify it to be a Mogul and I had his fire box and his three wheel wells on each side instead of two make him red design, James’s face and your done all thats needed now is some pin striping and also make the dome gold

I wouldn't be surprised if the coupling system became a mainstay in any future models.
The Disesil remake with these would be amazing!
This definitely the best so far! This definitely answered my question back when Toby was made and then some!
Now the main question i have is, will James be next as he is basically Edward but with a few small modifications to the body, wheel chassic and colour

You can use magnets from the lego train as couplings it works perfect

Edit: Now that you found how to add a tender and what wheels to use, it would make the process of building an engine like James easier.

Gotta be honest know that you've made Edward, making James would be easy I think, all you do is just change up the wheelbase, switch the color, modify Edwards model and boom you got James (I think...)

I may be seen as a traitor to Thomas The LEGO Engine here, but I'd love to see more recreations of the old episodes (obviously episodes that have characters you've built in)

Heres a tip: The coupling you used is not sutible for bigger train(Like the play Hogwarts express). But it is a very good coupling system for your mini engines!
Hey, I’m not sure if this would work but to get the black 1x2 slope on the running board to a 1x1, maybe you could use 2 1x1 brackets on either end to hold the buffer? that way you could put a jumper in the centre and have the slope be flush with the boiler?
BoCo: I remember the first time I met those two. They nearly made my eyes pop out. Edward soon put a stop to their games.
Duck: Edward is the only one who can keep Bill and Ben in order. I sometimes call them "the bees".
BoCo: A good name. They're terrors when they start buzzing around.

I found you on accident and I was curious to see if you could do Oliver with his wheel design and akward boiler, its a little challenge to say so myself
