Fairy lights are great; a fan that uses USB C!!! to recharge; mesh side window bug screen sleeves are awesome and cheap; a magnetic sunroof bug screen; WeatherTech shades for all windows; iPad holder using the headrest posts; a gooseneck battery operated magnifying mirror that sticks to the side window for those of us who can’t see our faces up close; a $15 5 gallon water pump dispenser for drinking water, works on a lighter weight three gallon jug too, I use the square one for better packing space from Walmart; a 32 Oz hand pump sprayer for rinsing feet, dishes, etc.; and a 17x24 fluffier, washable bathroom rug on the rear passenger floor for barefoot comfort when sitting there, and to catch dirt before climbing into bed. That’s what I got (that works and was worth keeping) thus far. Yes, I’m a female. Lol.

THANK YOU! I just watched all your videos AGAIN last night. Very helpful as I try to decided what to do with my 2011 Outback. It just turned 100K and barely broken in.
Also, as a video producer and photographer, have to tell you your videos are great. The camera work, audio, and story telling are excellent. Better than some of the video folks making videos about video production.

Brian, mate, this is HANDS DOWN the best video on the real essentials one needs to camp in the car. You need more subscribers. I've subbed and will look on your channel for what else I can learn before I set off on my own adventures! ;)

Great videos you’ve got! One recommendation I’d make is the factory side window rain-guards, definitely worth the investment for so many reasons.
And take out the spare tire styrofoam thing… I use that for extra storage in my wilderness. The jack fits fine against the tire. Love the wilderness in that color!

Great videos on this channel with some solid tips and impressive production quality - keep it up! Quick question, what are the storage containers you use (pictured at 5:41)? Could you provide a link?

Since the OBW is marketed for the Adventure Initiated, will the center console cup holders fit a 32 Oz Nalgene bottle?
