I use non-slip, it's effective and they have nice designed symbol
Wearing the flight cap wrong is probably a big one! So many people in my squadron wear it wrong!

Usually if you live in a town with a military population, or near a military base the off-base cleaners that have tailors can sew on your patches. All you have to do is show them a copy on how to sew on patches...
I find that a lot of people don’t get enforcers for their blues. I don’t think that 39-1 actually says that they are required but it makes you look a hell of a lot sharper and more professional.

Lots of things you can screw up on there is the loose strings, the unpressed uniform, not shined boots, and there rolled up selves "Bleeding". My squadron Just got a wave of new cadets so i see a lot of mistakes and i enjoy helping them get it right. I love being an NCO because helping others to succeed is not only fun but important.
When I first rolled up my sleeves everyone was saying I was bleeding I spent a minute try to figure out where the blood was until someone explained.
What is bleeding?

If you just started CAP and just got your uniform with no patches can you wear it?

The long answer is you can wear it for one meeting and no more, but the patches need to be on for the next meeting.

Thanks for the great video. I've only been in cap for about 5 months, but plan to stay as long as possible. If I'm not mistaken, 39-1 says creasing the BDU uniform is prohibited. I'm just going by memory and what I've been told, but it was mentioned week before last. C/Amn. Evan Goodwin AL-075
is there only one CAP base in each state or is there different bases for different areas of the state?
Hard to hear you over the background music.
Actually, ANY music playing in the background makes hearing the voice of the speaker difficult for the hard of hearing.
For ribbons the most important go on top toward your gigline right?

I couldn't find it in 39-3 or the order of precedence...
Main things I see Cadets doing wrong are laces untucked, patches not ironed (or having patches on their uniform that are no longer allowed on the uniform), insignia wrong way or not properly measured out, ribbons backwards, and my favorite... Non ironed and/or non tucked uniforms. It's a mess we try to clean up but for some reason, new cadets just don't get it... Lol

CAWG makes it optional to wear patches on the new ABUs lol
youd be suprised how many cadets ive seen that just dont roll up/tuck their pants, like not even badly done, just no attempt made.

I had a problem figuring out how to blouse my trousers properly with the Blouseing Rubbers. My britches would be way too baggy.
