    This is my favorite foiler too. If not, I use my hands. It does come in the sizes of foil width.

    How can you buy one? Tried Etsy, and Amazon without luck

    Hello. Is the groove at the back the same width as the glass as the foiler I have has a large groove meaning the glass isn’t centred?

      They make different thicknesses for the different foil widths

    Thank you for your videos! They've helped so much! However, I'm having trouble with the paper getting pulled into the long channel below the tape and then getting caught under the tape on my glass piece. What am I doing wrong?

      Depending on the brand of foil, you may have to "babysit" it as it seperates. I had problems with the paper backing on venture vs the more plasticky of edco. I prefer edco

      @@SandyKJohnsonGlassworks Thank you for the quick reply! I was wondering about that. I'm using Studio Pro and the paper is very thick. I'll babysit it for now and next time get the Edco. Thanks!

    I am also very interested in seeing if you know what all the odd shapes at the end of your roller are used for, have been trying to find more info on that.

      Are you referring to the foil roller? The point allows you to get into tight inside curves and textured glass

    What is that small roller you used to burnish the foil after using the foiler ? Have not see one of those before. I have been using my finger and then burnishing the side with a small wood brush handle. Do you sell them ?

    Can I ask where you purchased this amazing tool?

      It was made by Glastar, but they had a warehouse fire last year and lost everything. The last I heard they were not going to reopen. Which basically means they are extinct - so watch for local marketplace listings for people selling their old stuff.

    Where can I purchase a hand foiler?

    • @SandyKJohnsonGlassworks
      @SandyKJohnsonGlassworks  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The glastar factory burned down last fall and they lost sell of their inventory so they are no longer made. I don't believe they are planning to rebuild at this point.
