You're absolutely right. The scx6 is an entirely different crawling experience. It always puts a smile on my face. Nice watching you build memories and teach your little wingman. You're a fine dad!
I'm not sure how old Axel is but he seems to be about the same age as my oldest (5). RC is the best way to connect and cultivate that amazing bond. I also have a lifted Gladiator Rubicon so the rock crawlin is natural to us. All in all this is magic watchin you guys! God Bless!
I love the scx6 honcho. It just looks so good. Already having my ascent 18 for one day I can say it's one of the best things I ever owned. It's stock except for the fact that I put my injora comp pin 65 mm on there and it improved the performance by alot.
yeah, 5 minutes is DANGEROUS!!!! I love my 6 Honcho, I bought the Jeep the second it was released years ago but when I saw you got yours on sale I knew I had to, it was an expensive Christmas between the DBXLE2.0, SCX6 and the Promoto!!! 🤣🤣🤣
@@keldonator I have the 3BRC anti foams and they work well but seem a bit sloppy within the Hyrax tires they're designed for. Didn't even try to put them in the Swampers since the tire is wider than the Hyrax. Again, the anti foams worked well, just a bit too much "bagging" for me on a daily basis. The Power Hobby Trail Warriors are another fantastic tire. The Tusks and Proline Baja Pro Xs seem to be popular as well.
These scx6’s look amazing for trailing! A while back I asked if you would be interested in doing a rock pirates interceptor chassis for your Phoenix and you where interested, is that still the case? Love an occasional blog too!! Keep having fun!!
dude that was awesome. these vlogs of you out on trails, just seeing what you and your son do with your time away from reviews and upgrades sound great. my boys love a trail but the youngest gets bored too soon. great video keep it up👍🏻
@@CapeCrawlers i get that. im sure he loves spending time with his dad and as you said take all of these opportunities because the teenage years come way too quick 👍🏻
Sure appreciate you bringing us along, love your videos always top notch, it’s just been too cold here in Michigan to get out. So I really appreciate your videos. Catch you on the next one until then peace and chicken grease 😁👋👋😎
Fun watch Adam. Man your channel has got to be the fastest growing rc channel I’ve seen.I started my channel shortly after you and I barely over 700 subs 😂.
Intresting vid -- mid way thru the little guys rig went right up the big rock a couple of times but the red rig with swampers didn't seem like it could hack it.... was it the tire compound or the foams you tihnk?
Do you run 3s or 4s on the 6's? I think lil man invented a new type driving. Rock Bashing! My SCX6 is used nearly exclusively for towing the kiddos around in a trailer/ stroller made to be pulled behind a bicycle. They are awesome rigs.
I have been searching at the Traxxas site for the trx4 defender, and they have been sold out for a few weeks. Have you heard of a new version coming out due to the truck's age? I haven't come across any information, therefore I am asking around.
I’ve heard different things about the stock wheels. Are they a true beadlock or are the tires glued on? My honcho arrives tomorrow and already looking at tires

Haha I love watching him bump into the rear end of your honcho going down hill like, dad go faster! He’s got the need for speed for sure!
That is so nice to watch, Axel exploding here and there and finally got enough !😅 His uphill blastings were really awesome ! Do more this stuff!🎉

Dude you are such an awesome dad. Also, those new wheels are dope, you can really hear them grabbing the rocks. Super dope
Nice video with the scx6. I had recently got one and I’m really enjoying it. Hope to see more videos on this.
My favorite tire/insert combo is the Swampers and Steady Foams.
They work incredibly well!
What other combinations have you tried?

@@davidconaway2830 Oh thanks for sharing. My used scx6 came with swampers and proline dual stages and they seem okay, maybe a bit stiff.

Axel enjoys the trails more and more as he gets older. He needs a truck that’s fast enough to keep him engaged though 😆

Best part is the family time!! Great content bro!
That’s awesome 👏, I wish my boys were into it as much as your little man is. Awesome video , like always!

That's a cuality time, right there
Dam that's great I just wish I had a hobby shop in my town lol 😆 😅
Yeah RC heaven for sure 👍👍😎
Might need some brass on these bad boys! 💪🏻
You should do a rc collection video of you and your boys to see how much you actually have
31 minutes gang. Love the video!
best rc creator!!

Thanks for watching! I am shocked and humbled by the channels growth. Its been a wild ride
Out of both tires which do you think performs better all around the treps or swampers?
Idk if it’s a good thing or a bad thing, but my nearest hobby store is 35 minutes away, and that’s good traffic on the interstate lol.

3S. Axel doesn’t need any more speed lol
sick !!!
You should buy a 3d printer for all of your builds!
Great video!! I have a Honcho and have a blast with it!! What did you do to get your stock tires off? Aren't they glued on?

This looks like soo much fun i wish i could be there!! Do you know if the new power wagon scx24 body fits on the Jeep gladiator scx24
You’re not in New Jersey are you? Let’s go cruise some trails man!
