Commander strips along the bottom would keep it secure. Or, double sided Velcro strips. I use reflectix with a lot of my camping gear. I’m sure what you’ve done will make a big difference. 🤟🤘
Thanks for the video! Just curious as I recently bought this fridge myself, have you ever gotten any weird "E6" warnings followed by beeps when using this unit? As a matter of fact, how has it been treating you so far? Liking it or some regrets?
I just got the E6 too..and of course that code isn’t in the manual so that was a bummer. Also My handle popped off but I was able to pop it back on. Over all I really like it, I’v literally had it on for about a month on eco mode (camping every weekend and plugged in to the wall at home as a mini fridge) and it’s going strong. When it was hotter the only issue is my Jackery 240 struggles to keep up with the usage when on solar.
@@campthropology Thanks for the reply! The E6 code isn't a huge deal, but apparently on a similar model that code indicates the internal temperature probe does not agree with the displayed temperature and is letting you know as a warning. So, something inside is potentially too hot or too cold. That's from the CF-55 Euhomy fridge manual (not the CFA-55 we own). "E" are warning messages that something is potentially wrong while "F" codes are faults.
Still running strong! I'm actually super surprised tbh. Sometimes between camp trips i keep it on (plugged into the wall) the entire time so it has been on for like a month straight multiple times. The only problem I've been having is in certain outside temperatures the foam lining in the seal/lid expands or something which causes the lid to not fully seat closed... so i usually put something heavy on tops. its not all the time though so im trouble shooting this still.
@campthropology cool I'll watch out for the issue with the lid just got it yesterday July 2nd and did a test from room temp of 78F to 32F and took exactly 15min as advertised.
Good job
Looks great! 🆒🧊🥶❄️
