It's so funny watching al these awesome rigs bouncing off the obstacles and just screaming horse power to muscle their way through and then Paul Cox (Fab Rats) and Rory Irish (Trail Mater) just drive right over the same obstacle - no drama, just technical experience. All of these drivers and rigs are amazing!

Rudy with the junkyard power train ..stock motor , worn out trans and no sort of double low T-case , he’s a cool and positive guy but he brought a pointy stick to a bazooka fight. The Peck’s are just fun..and helping everyone the entire time.
I really don't think those Patagonias helped him.

The green Jeep and the peck brothers are impressive! Paul Cox is my favorite cause it's my favorite you tube channel by far. Rory always seems to shine cause his skillset and experience.

Think Rory should have been trail leader he can pick a line. Really impressed with the peck brothers for an untested rig they are doing great. The race buggy is just wild to watch.
Not taking anyting away from ANY of the drivers, because they're all better than me... But you can really tell who are the better, higher skilled, drivers. The ones who know how to drive are completely different than the ones that just rely on horsepower of their rigs. It seperates them very clearly.
I wonder how long it will be before Rudy from RAD upgrades his motor.
I think Rory ahould be a permanent fixture on hell and back. He knows his stuff and can see good lines.
He's too low budget. Most of his stuff isn't new.
@@bishmayoung agreed. That is why he put in the 4.0 with the cam. I get the not wanting to break stuff. But, as time goes I think he is seeing he needs a little more power at times. Although, he has his doubts let and that helps him out a lot.
@PeckBrothers are killing it. I notice in a lot of side footage they’re always there helping the others and being involved as much as possible. What a great group of guys, and they can wheel

Out of all the vehicles, Rudy’s jeep has to be the lowest budget build of the group

I was thinking Rory's was the most budget.. the cost of Rudy's coil overs alone look like they'd cover the cost of half of Rory's rig. The two definitely feel like they got less money in 'em than any others on the trail though. They all still out there performing though. Put on a good show for sure.

@@taylormade710which just proves how talented Rory is. He can build a rig out of used parts and fabrication and make a more capable machine than the 10’s of thousands dollars rigs. Put that with being the rock whisper and you have a force to be reckoned with. First time watching, but not my last. Fun content.

This is brutal. The fact there’s no cut tires yet seems pretty lucky. I bet Rudy is rethinking his life choice - full body, no power is not for this trail. And it appears Rory is a wheeling genius. So far it looks like he’s thinking thru this like Einstein
Man the need to do a cross country run doing as much off-road as they can and doing all the hardest tracks they can find this is a great culture that we need to embrace not loose

Rudy may as well paint his rig pink at this point, he’s such a good sport 😂 I’m so happy to see Paul and Rory doing so well. Rory is a legend!! Not only can he drive but he seems to be a great coach/helper as well

Wrong trail to pin it and bounce around. Watch Rory. Be like Rory. Ask Rory for help. Wildcard almost had a catastrophic bounce & roll that would have killed the whole thing for everyone to get him out. He almost turned it into the 43 hours to hell and back
Not a maniac… there’s times where horsepower is needed and that was the line it needed it. Might be hard to see in the footage, I was also the only one to make that line 😊
So the map is shown with “Horsepower Hill” then a 4.0 climbs it. Nice!
This is a fun series I am sure everyone will be able to get through with legends like Rory and Paul in the group. I wanted to wish everyone a merry Christmas and happy holidays

Great episode, love seeing the Peck Brother rock it with the brand new build and John Grounds is absolutely fearless. The poor Rudicon is a little outmatched but Rudy got through. How have there not been more broken axles or drivelines? Great work putting this all together Marvin!

I love seeing the Rock Bouncers and KOH trucks mixed in with the crawlers. Amazing rigs designed to do something completely different than slow technical trails like this
Ian needs the pink helmet for not at least trying the obstacles. Didn't think bypass queens were on Hell and Back thats a little disappointing.
Rudicon needs some lower gears
This is a great series. That course is insane. It's cool to see Paul, Rory and a few other of my staple channel guys are showing how incredibly knowledgeable they really are. So calm and taking all the right lines.

This is such a good watch. Great seeing them all struggling in different sections. Of the course. I think the front runners have the more difficulty though as they don’t see all the wrong lines. Where Paul and Rory are just studying the lines and make it look easy.
We just gotta get Rudy on some real tires. Those Patagonias are making his life so much harder than it has to be!

I miss the East coast stuff it was crazier for sure. The guys in the video mixed with the East coast video would have been crazy! But still excited to watch these!!! Happy holidays
