A little complicated, but hear me out: Voidzer; low bite fatality (like, it only has warning bites. Maybe like a 5% death chance). Highly territorial, but also nervous and nothing really to defend itself. Spits at basically everything, but never seems to chase after it, and will only stand its ground or movebackwards/run away. However, if one gets too close to it, it self destruct if it gets injured or if somebody gets too close to it, exploding into a singularity bomb. It has very low health too, and if it dies, it will also explode. It’ll also explode if it’s cornered.

If ideas extend to slugcats: Idea: The Keeper (aka paincat). Red slugcat, ridged/spined back. Food Pips: 5|3. Diet, Survivor + Paincones. Paincone bees are non-aggressive. Special Action: Trigger paincone bees from body. Trigger causes biting predators to release caught Keeper due to surprise. Special Action has a max stock of three uses. Stocks refresh by having extra pips when hibernating, consuming pips in process, or by eating paincones.
@@Wallace_Horsey If implemented into Rain World itself I would recommend the starting location be in either Industrial Complex, Garbage Wastes, or Farm Arrays since those are the three regions with paincones. Between the three I'd suggest Garbage Wastes since Farm Arrays already has Hunter and Industrial Complex has the least paincones. Additionally the campaign world should not be Monk's since that one does not have paincones in Industrial Complex at all. That said this information is based on the wiki which might not be updated for Downpour, and so if a different world state or updated/new region has more paincones I would suggest using that instead.

Guess so but I then find the word grub to be pretty misleading then. As it basically means it’s a small infant that performs complete metamorphosis. Could be but then due to how baby birds look that’d be one grizzly sight.
I love how you made the scavor as a pixel art but I would scream if I saw it as an actual thing in game! Like, it would have the same size mask/face as a black mask with blue eyes scavenger, but instead it has a tiny body and would only throw rocks at you if startled and would reject Spears!🤣 I'd say that variant specifically cuz it's easy to tell what their emotions are when looking at their eyes! Their eyes are most visible and wide and seem to show the most curiosity unlike any other variant. Like the white body/red masked scavenger for example: their eyes are unarguably tiny and quite angry most of the time.
