Ooh, so many mod ideas, here's a couple... For a fun one someone suggested on my channel a while ago, Moon Eggbugs (replace their eggs with Moon)! For a proper challenge... Pipe a MIDI input into the game as an event trigger and use it to trigger... something? I don't know, a keyboard arrangement of black/white scugs that jump (or get neuron glow?) in sync to song notes, "piano visualizer" style? Or maybe there's a cooler event to be note-triggered in game
Because safari modes exists, there should totally be challenges and stuff for each different creatures like manage to ensnare 5 prey animals as worm grass or defeat x vultures as daddy long legs or just survive 1 minute in a lizard infested area as a baby noodle fly.
If you’re still doing mod ideas please make one where slugpups can grow into adult slugcats that will still follow you around and let you pick them up or hold their hand, it would be so cool!

it would have been pretty funny if that last one took place in the rubicon AI chamber, and after they casually mention "oh yeah this isn't real" they then go poof in a golden like how the iterator dialogue there normally ends.
Side effect of me trying to make him more chaotic by following the player slugcat but also having the slugcat be inside the wall since they can't spawn without it.

How about a mod turning slugcat into an organism that has adapted to hostile environments, i.e. you have to keep contact with environments that cause damage like worm grass or polluted water to stay alive and 5-10 seconds after you are no longer in contact you start to slowly lose health. Maybe in turn you can use them to restore health fully even if you lost it because of enemies? More environmental hazards may need to be added if there are otherwise too long stretches without them that would become impossible survive with this mod. Maybe you also have to do something about worm grass obstructing movement cause not dying but also not being able to move or being forced to always move through worm grass which slows down movement speed to a snail's pace doesn't sound very fun.
I think i actually did the last one in character ai. Basically i just made a groupchat with all of the iterators that had ai's, and just watched what happened.
If you do a continuation for this, could you make slugcats taller? I think it'd be hilarious. (thinking about 1.5x the normal height, but if you do decide to release the mods you made, maybe you could make the added height configurable?) That or make scugs able to walk on walls and ceilings, after watching that thalassophobia concept video, I thought being able to do it would be very fun.
