Not to be cringe, but so happy to see the man behind the tactic analysis brilliance❤
Appreciate it bro
Me too 😁
Yeah man I agree. The camera’s too close though, takes away the focus of the content.
After watching Spain play their first game I can say you were right on many things.
Yamal is a wonderful young talent to watch first of all, both him and Williams make Spain a genuine threat in transition. Really enjoyed watching Spain be more dynamic as they’re not afraid to mix things up. Almost like they’ve added a very Premier League/English update to the Tiki Taka tactics. I think people are sleeping on Spain during this tournament.
Dani Olmo and Fermin Lopez will be crucial in Spain's Midfield whenever they need to speed up the tempo of the game.
You also forgot Oryazabal who's always deadly when playing for national team
I always like Olmo for Spain
Same and I also like oyarzabal as a bench option
Grimaldo doesn’t just overlap btw. He’s quite complete as a fullback/wingback as he’s been all over the pitch for Leverkusen. Aside Grimaldo, Spain lack elite and consistent set-piece delivering threat as well which is essential in these types of tournaments.
Edit: Merino as well should be starting alongside Pedri at RCM as well after the season he’s had imo. He’s won the most duels in Europe’s top 5(and even top 7) this season and is no slouch going forward either, a good box to box option. Could potentially provide some cover for Carvajal from this position as well.
Merino is good, He is a briliant tactician and one of the cogs for RSO. He should be better than Ruiz, though Ruiz is better at set piece and distance shots.
You are the best In what you do
How you predicted to night's Germany line up it was crazy 🙀
Fermin can really grow as the tournament progresses. His buildup is incredible and connects the defence to attack really well.
Underrated
There is great unity and a great team spirit in this Spanish team. It takes more than just having the best players to win a tournament like this. I wouldn't be surprised if they went all the way.
I like your team.
Yes I do like the vibes in this squad.
Nice video. Been following you for a long time now. Just wanted to give you some advice, try using diffusers to make the lighting more softer and beautiful. It will remove the harsh glares and all. ❤
Thanks for the tip!
Would love a united video on where we need to recruit, the tactical changes needed and expectations for next season. Loving this euro content by the way.
Will do
Nice to the the man behind the awesome videos. Quality content as always, are you doing this for all the teams in the Euros or just the Teams likely to progress to the business end ofcthe tournament.
Just the favourites
wow.....well rounded team analysis.....and very spot on with what was on display yday. Great job bro
Glad you enjoyed
Your line up makes sense as Cucurella gives more defensive stability and option to invert in the middle to help Rodri defensively. I don't think Spain are favorites by any means, but if they opted for the same front 3 as you, it would bring so much creativity, running behind defenders and chance creation. Williams and Yamal can hurt any teams and w/ Olmo, there would be technical upgrade on Morata. Hopefully your next video will be on Portugal or France, enjoying seeing your content more often.
Portugal and France are on the way
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Quality of your videos was always really good but these national teams analysis are top notch. Maybe keep that format for the clubs also? Amazing work sir Pyth.
Appreciate it - seeing as these are a rush job, we can do a more detailed analysis for clubs when the season returns
Great analysis, Yamal gotta trademark that cross.
Trust me
Requested the vid, got it. Thank you! I was keen to get your opinion on the defence. I've tempered my expectations 😢
No worries!
Great video, I like the addition of the talk head shots.
Just a small bit of advice, you might want to consider dropping the exposure by a few stops or adjusting your lighting a little to help with the over exposure.
Once I can move to the new room I’ll be able to control the lighting
@@PythagorasinBootsNice! Have you considered a tactics board to illustrate your points like they have on the coaches voice? Its a really nice touch.
@@JeanSialelli once we away from Euros, I will be able to add and tweak things more. Time pressured at the moment!
One thing that is still common in Spain squad is the abundance of midfielder. Different can be said about their attacker and defend.
this is awesome! would love to see u do a tactical analysis of the usmnt and Greg berhalter’s tactics, lots of complaints of him in the states and not too many videos ab his tactics
Interesting suggestion I’ll take a look at some stage perhaps post Euros
@@PythagorasinBoots thanks man 💪🏾
Yamal best RW in the world??? Plenty of potential, but still a long way to go until he reaches the heights of Saka and Salah. With his technical ability, he should be able to work himself enough space to get more than 5 league goals per season
He said one of the best in the tournament only saka and dembele are ahead of him and salah and saka didn't got 10+ assists in there first season at 16 his not a st his first job is to create for the st and he is god damn good at it
Salah was shit this season. Saka was nowhere at 16.
He will become better than both
@@aurangzebhassan89625 goals & 13 assists makes a player shit nowadays?
@@aurangzebhassan896 ahh yes a terrible season with 28 goal contributions in 32 matches
grimaldo was possibly top 15 player this season(best fullback by a margin), and carvajal was definitely had one of the best season, winning man of the match in the UCL final. And if you say balde should have played ahead of grimaldo if fit, then there should be question of your validity as football analyst
We will see by the end of their careers who will be rated higher (assuming Balde doesn’t end up injury prone)
Honestly spain goalkeeper should be romero, 3rd choice, he was brilliant with
Lareale this season and he play good with a
Feet
Nacho is faster than people think
True but does he play consistently in a high line
100% nothing like the cb quality they used to have. The same with many top European nations
Definitely
@@PythagorasinBootsThe next generation has Cubarsi, Huijsen, Gasiorowski, Fresneda.
This time it makes sense for them to play a high possession style cuz that's the only way they can defend.
@@athreyathandeswaran7510 those are average defenders at best haha! No the future for spain is midfield and wingers
Average playing at barca in the ucl at 17 ?@@davidvo2318
@@davidvo2318 Cubarsi and Huijsen are anything but average. Also Mosquera should be added to that list instead of Fresneda who's a RB.
Was Bryan Zaragoza selected??.. Nice analysis btw
No
You Promised Pau Cubarsi Scout Report Video. Where is it bro?
La liga keep blocking Barca vids
@@PythagorasinBoots Does that mean there won‘t be a Cubarsi Vid?
please can you do a vid on branthwaith
Will do
please make video about Argentina, brazil, Uruguay, colombia
You need to change your background. To white. No complaints with the quality of video.
Don’t worry will have a new background by next season
In addition Pedri does have the vigor to endure tournaments, remember euro 2021? Only concern is his injuries
2021*
He hadn’t been overplayed back then
Do you think you could do an in depth analysis on blade and how good he could be. Because it appears as if you think you rate him highly.
Will do eventually.
You've got a nice voice and do you have any recommendations for SPURS transfers
Will do a recommendation video post Euros
Hey, do u know of any online resources where i can learn about body mechanics in relation to elite sports?
DM us on twitter.
How GOOD is Zirkzee? 😃
What you dont like of Mikel Merino?
English or Spanish?
Who me?
I'm also curious @pythagorasinboots
I agree on Fabián. He had a good game VS Croatia, but I think it’s a bit of an insult to the Spanish midfield tradition that he’s now a starting midfielder for Spain. Imagine if Gavi wasn’t injured
Gavi on another level but Fabian is a decent tactical fit to be fair.
This team got so much talent. Potentialy more than Enrique era but they really lack that creativity from the center compared to a decade ago. Mabye they should rely on their pressing more than often.(Then someone like Merino might get more minutes.)
Please do a Yamal and Dani Olmo videos
Yamal is on Patreon
Who's here after the Italy match 🤯
Mosquera also wasnt picked.
Skipping Pedro Porro is a huge mistake
Yep didn’t agree with that
Pls next video Xavi Simons analysis
Will add to the list.
Rodri & Zubimendi is Spain's best double pivot
Won’t they step on each others toes for smaller games?
@PythagorasinBoots they don't complement each other, in my opinion. Rodri can sort of overshadow Martin, it isn't like how spain had Xabi & busquets
@@PythagorasinBootsI more so see Zubimendi offering another deep lying distribution option to show for the ball if teams try & mark Rodri out of the game. Who's also comfortable further up the pitch.
@@Tostao_3 That's the ideal though, out of any of the midfielders Spain have at this Euros. Rodri & Zubi would be the ones who would come close to replicating anything remotely similar to Busi & Xabi.
@@john-adriancoker2789 they can, but should they play together? With these other midfield profiles being there like baena, merino & fabian?
Could pedro porro get minutes over navas and carvajal?
Over Navas yes surely.
I wonder if valles will take No.1 at some point
I am disappointed fresneda couldn't get game time at sporting, he could've gotten into the teams as Carvajals backup for sure
Gavi is a big miss in this team.
Someone like Gavi could bring Spain a facelift in midfield instead of Fabian Ruiz, such a shame he is injured.
Great miss.
Yamal best rw itw? If it was about the potential then sure, but right now?
He said possibly. And he might not be far off. There's saka and salah still plays (no, Dembele isn't better) and you could say their better than him but he has a different skill set from them and affects the game differently. Without doubt, on his good day, he'd outperform any rw in the world
I'm an Arsenal fan and I have to admit Yamal is something else man. He's not the same type of player as Saka and doesn't have the experience but his level is undeniably very close.
self explanatory really. they have and brought in wingers and central midfielders that arent as good in the pockets as they were in the past. also morata captains the squad so obviously the team is going to cater to him a little bit. whatever you think about from looking at that squad is what you’re going to get in the match.
hell no way choosing fabian,he is not that top level with due respect,f.lopez is a good option but lacks exp,but you gotta sacrifice something and they do need morata imo for that natural goal threat, williams and yamal are more of a creator than tremendous goal threats! And also alex baena can be a good option but that means more pressure on rodri!
This take aged like milk
@@MVPBallingD.Rose96 hell yeah!😅..slap on the face but I'll stick to my thought, maybe It's just his day,who knows?
Curbasi is a huge miss out
Definitely
Spain's defense is questionable
Spain just pumbled Croatia lmao😂
Didn’t expect anything less
The Spanish what😂
Grimaldo < Balde from a Cule
I’m assuming you mean Balde is better
Balde is an engine bruh and can thrive in both Offensive and defensive situations.
@@PythagorasinBoots Nope, 32 Goal contributions in 51 Games at LB. Balde is Grimaldo's heir & has immense potential but he needs to be better with his decision making.
Grimaldo has always been Alba's heir apparent but Barça is notorious for letting talented academy prospects go before giving them a proper run & he wouldn't be the first.
Grimaldo has matched Alba's output since 2019 & has been criminally underrated and overlooked since then. He's now just starting to get his flowers after proving what some fans knew he could always do in the Bundesliga
