Using it in fresh water might be a better use for this because of the floating design it will pull on the line with every wave and constantly be bobbing up and down, might I suggest making it travel just under the surface by adding a load of weight to make it less floaty but not too much as let it sink like a stone lol , have fun mate 👍keep up the good work
Suggestion: make two retractable canes that can connect by one end. Both should be no less than 28 inches when extended, and only 12 inches when retracted.

What 360 camera's do you think work best for this project? (they need to be able to do low light and 4k res and 60m water proof 360 video) - Thanks for you suggestions! (subbed and liked etc)
If you put that drone in the waters of the land down under mate them sharks down there are gonna have a blast with that drop cam device. Put some sort of shark repellent to keep things in tack. Nice build otherwise.
You can check out some Fpv video system stuff, for about 30 to 50 bucks you can get a camera and video transmitter that will go over a mile lol if anyone wants more info just reply to this comment
