To Make Oats Cutlet
Rolled Oats - 1 Cup (Buy: amzn.to/3KBnRTJ )
Potato - 2 Nos
Peas - 1/4 Cup
Chana Dal - 1/4 Cup (Buy: amzn.to/3QOYqCn )
Onion - 1no.
Capsicum - 1/4 Cup
Carrot - 1 No.
Ginger
Green Chilli - 3 Nos
Coriander Leaves
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tsp (Buy: amzn.to/2RC4fm4)
Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp (Buy: amzn.to/3b4yHyg)
Garam Masala - 1 Tsp (Buy: amzn.to/2TPe8jd)
Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp (Buy: amzn.to/2TPuOXW)
Amchur Powder - 1 Tsp (Buy: amzn.to/37kNpix)
Salt - 1 Tsp (Buy: amzn.to/2vg124l)
Oil (Buy: amzn.to/453ntph)
Method:
Soak the chana dal for 1 hour
Pressure cook dal, potato and peas together
put them all in a bowl. Mix oats, onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, grated carrots, ginger, salt and spice powder.
Mix them all well.
Prepare them into cutlet
Pour oil for shallow frying in a pan.
Oats are considered to be extremely healthy. We have made several recipes on our channel earlier and you can check them out. This video is all about a healthy and a tasty snack that you can make with rolled oats easily. These oats cutlets also have a few vegetables and you can add whichever vegetable you like to this recipe. These cutlets are so much fun and kids would definitely love their crunchy texture on the outside. I have shallow fried these cutlets but you can also bake them or air fry them if you want even less oil on them. You can enjoy these cutlets with tomato ketchup or mint coriander chutney. Feedback on oats cutlets. Grind half of them into flour & use the other cup whole. This way the ground oats works as a binding agent. I just made them that way and they weren't so soft. Thanks for sharing a healthy recipe:-)
