Welcome to our video on the BLACKSQUARE TURBINE DUKE COLD START! In this video, we share our first impressions of this amazing aircraft. The Turbine Duke is known for its powerful engine and sleek design. Today, we show you how it starts up from cold, which means starting the engine when it hasn't been running for a while.

I bought the turbine and piston package as soon as I could. Everything about these planes impress, and the tablet is absolutely brilliant. These planes are the high water mark for GA aircraft. No, I’m not a shill! Just a fan! 😜 Thanks for the upload! 🖖😀
Couldn’t agree more! I love it, I think it’s great for the team at Blacksquare to set the bar so high because eventually everyone else will have to produce that type of quality if they want market share, and in return we are going to keep getting better and better simming experiences! Amazing plane. Can you tell me about the sound in the plane - i can hear the engine, starter and pumps very well. Did you increase this in the post-processing of the video or is it settings in MSFS?

The sounds are genuine to the aircraft. Maybe check your sound settings in MSFS and make sure your engine sounds, misc sounds, cockpit sounds are turned up.

Nice video.... I own all BKSQ planes except of the C208 and the Dukes. The Duke is beautiful, but somehow doesn't get me. I hope BKSQ will bring the tablet features to the other planes.
We haven’t tried the C208 either, but I can only imagine it is nothing short of amazing. We think the Duke (both variants) and the TBM850 are Blacksquare’s greatest hits in our opinion.
If you get a chance to, try either of the Duke variants out. It is such a joy to fly and it is our number 1 pick so far for GA aircraft.
@@thatflightsimchannel it's more a Duke problem. I owned the Duke for XP11 and it was nice but somehow I couldn't get into it.
The TBM850 is my BKSQ favourite plane.
@@Boradumir starting up the TBM850 from a cold and dark cockpit is one of the most satisfying experiences within MSFS.

a little hard to know which step you are having trouble with, if youd like join our discord and show us what the issue is that you are having. Did you verify on your tablet that your GN750 is activated? We'd love to try and help you trouble shoot his.

You'll have to purchase a license in order to run it. We use the PMS GTN750, found here: pms50.com/msfs/
There is a free version you can download through that link but it'll be limited in features

@@thatflightsimchannel I was able to complete one successful startup with the Duke, but for some reasons now it just not working the same. I follow the startup procedure, however after statup, when the pitots are turn on and oil doors are open and ice deflect are turn on, theres an audiable rpm drop, the flap drop my themselves and the throttle goes limp and would not move. This is probably my 20th time attempting a succesful startup procedure to no avail.
@@noribsmith8604 interesting, have you checked your engine health and see what it looks like? You can see it on your tablet or on the weather radar it has a maintenance page. The engine health does deteriorate after a while, and could be affected more aggressively if the start ups weren’t done right. You won't regret it! Probably the best GA aircraft we've tried out to date on MSFS.

We agree! We thought it couldn’t be topped, but the Duke definitely surprised us!
