I don't get the hate people give her she's unique and blends her trad folk stuff with some black metal elements and you cant deny her talent. Metal fans can be complete c*nts sometimes. Im a fan and love the atmosphere she creates it stirs something in the soul
Seriously, I've never seen any actual hate, just people complaining about folk hating her. One of the first comments on almost every video of hers is someone saying "I don't get the hate...". The rest seem to be overwhelmingly positive.
I agree. I've been into metal since 1994. One thing I've learnt over the years is that just can't please all metallers.
I've also learn't that one of the great things about underground metal it doesn't follow a rule.It's made up of all styles, productions and people from all types or backgrounds and countries. People hating her for being into pop is just sad. Thats what makes the rich variety of underground metal exciting.

I'll have to disagree here. Some parts were hardly audible. Not her fault though. Sound tech should have increased vox volume. And the screaming part was some hastened affair she wasn't into. But she's a great singer, no doubt.

I have heard this show yesterday. They were support band of Solstafir. Never had heard of them before but being there was amazing - they/she is definitely added to my play list. The sound here is lacking bass and depth, in reality it is like an avalanche runnning on you - it is much heavier.

And as far as TALENTED female vocalists who can actually sing and growl, there a band called Jinjer. And long before this doomy sounding female fronted trend was a band called Black Math Horseman.
