What I wouldn't give to have been in that theater, to feel it in person must have been incredible. Love the stocking feet that can barely reach the sustain pedals.
'Invoke and evoke both relate to calling. Invoke involves calling upon something, whilst evoke involves calling forth something, often a memory or feeling'.
I used to be a big fan of Anna until she started this dreadfuk, dirge-like ponderous, unmelodious, internalized non-music. She has a great voice and can write great songs that sopeak to people, and all this thrashing about is really a waste of her time and a loss to people who know just how good she used to be.
Agree with you up to a point. Drone music can drone on a bit too long. I saw her supporting Swans last year and at one point they seemed to play the same note for five minutes. But it's okay in small doses. The album version of Evocation is great. Here, she looks like she's trying to bring on an orgasm; and succeeding. BTW did you make up 'dreadfuk' or is it a typo?
Hi. I know this is old, but I just got here. New fan. I just wanted to say I think her new dirge-like ponderous unmelodious, internalized non-music is great. I feel it deeply. Her old stuff is nice, too, but it never spoke to me like this does. Just because it doesn't speak to you doesn't mean it speaks to nobody, and I certainly don't think it's fair to say it is a waste of her time for her to create the music she wants to create. I look at it this way. She has created music that is beautiful to both of us. The stuff you love is still there. She is now creating stuff I love. We may not like the same songs, but she has moved us both, and that's a wonderful thing.
I'm with you, UnguisIncarnatus, I think this music is incredible. People need to learn that change is inevitable in any band with true talent and a wish to evolve, a wish to continue to expand musically. Simply repeating oneself to keep the single-minded fans happy is a surefire way to destroy an artists creativity. You should continue to enjoy the music she's already made, and support her on her journey, with hopes she will pick up fans like myself, who prefer what she is doing now. Peace.
@@MacEoin This is an embarrassing opinion to have, mostly because Anna would completely disagree with you as evidenced by the very fact that her musical direction has evolved in this way. This is bordering on being patronising to the artist themself, which is just mind-boggling to think that a fully developed adult would even try to do that. I'd reconsider a lot of things if I were you.
Y’know, I actually had the idea of incorporating the Pipe organ into rock music myself, just haven’t got round to it yet. Looks like you bet me to it! 👏
I had no idea Ibrahimovic was a fan of Can , Conrad Schnitzler, Ash Ra Tempel , Amon Dull and other Krauters ... great , now I respect him more on the pitch .
Loved from the first note! Feeling the vibrations in my laptop speaker! After reading Wikipedia article, especially comparisons, reminds me of the Russian-Siberian shaman Olena.
Dear Anna, I know you from German mag "Eclipsed". Can I use the Song for a mix for "ProgRockDock"? I´m overwhelming. Would you like to come to the Premiere of it in our Chat? Greetings from the south of Sweden. LOL
lol 8 minute endurance test of the c# 16' Posaune Reed Shallot. Organ has 30+ ranks. only uses 3 notes, couple of cords.. *Cries* You really need to take some lessons from an organist whom could teach you how to EMPHASIS with the organ on the music you write. I think you could really make your songs even MORE enhanced with the organ being FULLY utilized, while NOT hurting your voice. For example the Voix celeste and Viola De Gambe with a SOFT wooden flute would accompany that powerhouse voice of yours.
There’s nothing dark about this ..is just a lady and her band showing the power of absolutely beautiful music
well I wouldn't say "just"
In 2024 is just ....Sir@@ahandsomefridge
Anna is the queen of the dark side of my heart.
Fantastic. The spirit of Van der Graaf Generator lives on!

Every new live version of this song surpasses the last , absolutely astounding. That is one mighty organ !!!
this was heavy as fuck in person i bet
Incredible. Just incredible.
That organ will runs out of air before Anna does.
Astounding....
Amazing voice and music, a masterpiece!
Is there an English translation of the text?
Overwhelming
That glorious noise!!
'Invoke and evoke both relate to calling. Invoke involves calling upon something, whilst evoke involves calling forth something, often a memory or feeling'.
J'adore cette artiste, sa voix glaciale, son univers froid nordique et expérimental. Ses albums sont une vraies tueries. Une belle révélation 🖤🖤🖤
Sometimes you’re witnessing ceremonial magickal arts. She is doing the Great Work!
incredible.....BEST of the BEST!!!!!
This was so... cathartic!
Holy shit .... So good.
wirklich ein Kraftwerk !!!!
This lady…this beautiful sound 🖤
Can't wait for more music! I love the direction they´re taking, doomsday music :)

I look forward to seeing you today in Prague at the Church of St. Salvator. My heart is pounding !

Superbe, un morceau fantastique. J'ai eu la chance de les voir avec Swans à Reims, un concert inoubliable.
ganz wunderbar, Anna!
Magnificent from the very first organ note.
And to the last😂🙏
Hope I can go to see her soon. I bought her live, it will help during the wait

Soo beautiful!! 😈🙌❤🔥
This is awesome
Great song from a great artist

Just Wow!!!!

Very, very nice.
Less is more. Except when you have a giant organ to play
Enorme !!!

Splendide!
I put this at full volume and Satan appeared. Now I expect nothing less from the music I listen to.

Ich bin verliebt!!!!

Une découverte et un éblouissement artistique , comme cela a été avec Led Zeppelin en 68 . L'Art .

I think Ligeti would've liked this 😁
!!!!!!!
Omg
Who else cringed when she started screaming but then excepted it and thought it was like a ritual of awesomeness...
Apart from all the other tributes here, this is strangely erotic to me. Why is Ibrahimovic there, has he no game to play?
lol

100win300piw
Holy fucking loud.
A little bit of Death Can dance...
I couldn’t make it to the end. Does she manage to get past the first 6 keys on the keyboard?
AWSL
The hell? lol
PURE BULLSHIT ALL IS FAKE.
DE QUOI DEGUEULER VRAIMENT!
Listened to it again: still total rubbish.
You have to listen to the notes she's not playing
@@rubbernuts7 Ha ha!

Dear Rick, instead of commenting from behind, go there, create a piece, and perform better. You'll become famous and you'll make lots of money
You obviously have not the slightest whom you are talking about, @Rick Mahnn!
Don't tell artists how to express themselves.
You're the type of person that would say "girls don't play with toy cars!"
she released a full instrumental album on the organ, so there you go
Wow!
