This is the best one yet. It's an extremely hard design work - taking an old shape like this and bringing up-to-date with the sort of robot proportions and mental image we have nowadays, from all the current sci-fi, while losing absolutely none of the original feel.
As a note, the Wisdom of the ancients stratagem is perfect for Plasma armed Redemptors. It essentially gives them the captain's buff for a phase, as well as a 6 inch aura. Works so well to buff up other nearby dreads or hellblasters.

What I have found thus far is running Iron Hands chapter tactics with my dreadnought lists (2 venerable, ironclad, normal dread and a redemptor) is very fun. The venerable's get two layers of 6+ after losing a wound due to their "venerable" rule as well as the iron hands chapter tactic. The redemptor with 13 wound with statistical rolls is actually 15 wounds as an iron hands unit (will make 2 6's ish on 13 wounds). Follow the dreadnought wall with a couple techmarines, a captain and a lieutenant and boom you have a nice little wall of dead marines in adamantium boxes
I love the Redemptor Dreadnought model! I bought two one for my Ultramarines with the heavy onslaught cannon and one for my Dark Angels with (of course) a macro plasma cannon. They are probably my favorite Primaris model aesthetically speaking.
I think the redemptor is a really cool unit and it's so intimidating on the battle field with all it's guns and size and I use one in my howling Griffons army, the only problem I run into is no invulnerable save meand lascannons and melts weapons just eat through it and cause serious damage!
The chipping effects look great. I felt the official (GW) representation of this model seemed perhaps a bit bland and undistinctive, but you have really achieved to make it visually engaging and impressive. Weathering and all sorts of visual information really help a lot.
Wisdom of the ancients stratagem so the dread is self sufficient on hit rerolls. Have him *stand* by some hell blasters with heavy p/guns and his strategy helps them too. Add a lieutenant for wound rerolls and a tech marine /thunder cannon and you have a effective plasma firebase that doesn't need the captain.
Hey Luke! How about a video about your scenery in general??? the types of scenery you and your club have. are those bunch of barrels glued??? how do you set up such nice terrain?? How much time do you invert on them??? I think the scenery you use on your videos is the 3rd competitor in every battle.

I really don't like the Redemptor compared to other Dreads, but for a Primaris (heretics) only army, it is kind of a nice-to-have. The T7 BS3 is just too low when used together on such an expensive unit.
I have two of them in my primaris army, both with the double Gatling cannons, I have left mine like yours in case I need to swap the Guns, I run guilliman with them so the rerolls really make those Gatling cannons sting, If you try to exclusively shoot stuff you wound on 3s it tears them up, but can still hurt higher toughness with volume of fire, After listening to your opinion I will try plasma the next game and see how it plays, I have 15 hellblasters with the rapid fire option, they tend to melt all the enemy's of guilliman,
Left-tenant, not Loo-tenant :-) Great video though, and beautiful paint job. Think 200 points is a little steep compared to a Leman Russ double-tapping its battle cannon for 154 points.
