What a life saver. After following your instructions I was able to remove the scratch from my brand new carbon fiber spoiler. I went the extra mile and used 3000 grit after the 800 and 2000. Came back and wanted to thank you for the video!
Shop wanted to charge almost 400 to fix a few scratches on the back of my car and a scratch on the carbon fiber on top of my mirrors so I've been watching videos trying to learn how to do it myself. This video helped alot. It kept everything simple :) thank you!
That's amazing!!! Exactly what information I needed to fix the identical wheels!!! Thanks you so much for taking the time and effort to carry out the repair and post on TH-cam
i just scratched my brand new carbon fibre cycle racing bike on a post so can now fix it i hope. Hope i can buy a can of clear coat spray as i do not have a spray gun handy
I bought a carbon fiber hood and it has a very small crack in it, just 3/4 of an inch long that has bubbled the clear coat. Body shops have told me that what you just did was impossible. I can't find anyone to repair it. I am using a tiny piece of carbon fiber tape to hide it until I can find someone that knows how to repair it, cover it, or something.
sick bro thanks for rhis i jus scratched my deffuser pretty bad its $500 i will b fixing and doing a video of me doing it thank you so much u got my sub bro

I used 800, then 2000, and some Meguiar's G19220 Ultimate Polish on a CF trunk lid but it still has that cloudy sanded look that’s noticeable. The scratches are out at least. Maybe I should try a different polish?

Hello what is the white polishing compound please?
great video! now I get some courage to deal with the scratch on my new carbon wheel
Is there a way to avoid having the shadow in the carbon fiber? You can see it on the first part you cleared. Maybe re-epoxy it?

Can you tell me the two different cribs used ? 3000 the 4000? Was the polish a clearest too on the small scratch

No

Mitch McMahon happy to help!
Would this be possible with matte carbon fibre? If so how would you get the look restored without the polish?
