Hey Claudio, can we get a tutorial on using the Foreno VU meter? I have a Tascam MU-40 myself, but only use it for the Jacquire King low end trick so far. I'm sure there is much more I am missing out on. Since there are also plugins (e.g. tbp for a free one or waves), I think it could make for a useful mixing tutorial for many people. Awesome desk! Modson is king! How come you went with the Hayakumo Foreno VU Meter over the Coleman Audio MBP2 Stereo meter? And do you use it to meter your input or output signal?
Very nice! Main problem for me would be the rack processors in the side left and right side cars don't appear angled up enough to view most of the settings or to reach from the seated position.
Looks awesome but concerned that your back will hurt after a while as the units are not angled much so you will have to reach a lot to make adjustments.
Great setup. I would replace the pc with a Mac Pro + 6K display + vesa adapter. I's not a good idea to have too many speakers so close to each other, I would replace all of them with the Focal Trio 11BE.
May I ask a help as your opinion, I have to hesitate purchasing between a Focal Shape 65 or KEF LS50 Meta. I am lost. Please give me a direction. Thank You!
Yes impressive and expensive but my understanding of using a compressor in the studio is once it is set you shouldn't need to play with it to crunch dynamic range, compression is a heated topic for studio engineering the old 2 to 1 setting, , the old volume unit VU meters were burying the needle comes from
