You can skip going to pollo every time by just selecting the atlas path mission in your log.
@svenm sandity you can chnage your mission by click on wsc, and choosing the one u prefer to show up

For those of you (like me) where new to NMS when finding this video. Here is some added imfo from the Wiki:
To complete the Atlas path, you will require the following resources (in total):
125 Chromatic Metal
100 Pure Ferrite
100 Ionised Cobalt
5 Magnetised Ferrite
25 Chromatic Metal
100 Copper
100 Cadmium
100 Emeril
100 Indium
100 Gold
Additionally, you will need to craft a Cadmium Drive, an Emeril Drive, and an Indium Drive in order to collect Cadmium, Emeril, and Indium, respectively.
Upon completion of the Atlas Path, you're given a new mission to proceed to a Black Hole. Black holes are now visible on the Galactic Map.
Completing the quest consumes the Heart of the Sun.
If you save your game after completing the Atlas Path before proceeding to complete the Black Hole quest and restart the game, you may need to jump to the next Atlas Interface and "Birth a New Star" again for the quest to be considered complete. Even though Black Holes will be visible on the map. (Possible bug in v1.35)
Ty, did everything was trying to figure out what went wrong, the black hole quest never existed
The final atlas station said im alone in the universe and it gave me nothing.. only option for was to leave.. so i left with disappointment

when i ask polo for atlas station coordinates, it ends up showing nothing on my galaxy map

When in the galaxy map... go to the "atlas path" marker (it's in the top middle of your screen and shows what button to press to switch markers)
That way it will automatically highlight the correct path...
You can also go back to the atlas path in your mission Log... that way it will also make it visible in the map....
You don't even need to go to polo and just go to your log select atlas path, go to the galaxy map and make sure that marker is selected in the middle of the screen... and then travel to where it shows and go to the next atlas station :)

I did all the atlas path, except that last room were you activate all the "pillars" and already have the star seed. I created a new star and it told me to go through a blackhole.. Went through a blackhole and then atlas path mission disappeared but popped back up telling me to go through the black hole on my galaxy map... Why is mine so different? Lol

7:40 you don't need polo for the next Atlas station, the Atlas station will give you the next Atlas station in line
I think back in the day, we used to get a word from every orb, but people ended up farming atlas stations and learning the languages faster than intended, so they nerfed it. I'm not 100% sure on that tho, that was a long time and several universes ago ;p
Came here looking for the heart of the sun, apears this quest has changed a lot.
you only need to visit polo once and every time you open the map it will give you a station. you only have to visit polo again if you don't go to the next atlis station and warp far far away from it.
I am confused i have been doing this in story for a while after resetting the first atlas and i kept finding and resetting atlas interfaces but never understood what i gain from it other then another blueprint and it would take me a lot to travel between galaxies for candium and other materials
I finished the game and i have only the recipe for the REMEMBRANCE so I haven t the recipe for captured nanode, heart of the Sun and others. What can I do to receive these recipes if i finished the game and i can't go to Atlas station ? And i have another question: Can I do to Atlas Station if i finish the story and the game??
Same thing happened to me, it sorted itself out when I got the Eissentam core and went through.

So, what's the Star Seed for?
I’ve read it gives you a little bump in health. Remembrance gives a bump in shields. Or I might have them mixed up but it’s one of the two.

I made the heart of the sun but in that procces i lost the location of the final interface were you make the planet, do you know a way hoe i could find it agian?
This is my problem also! Have you found a fix? I was thinking maybe revisiting the last system he goes to in the video hoping it was the same for me. I want my star seed 😵😞
I think Nada or Polo will help you locate the Atlas again, then you can continue.
Also, by opening your starmap while in space, there is the icon next to the planet, which can take a lot of searching unless you are near it. It may show an icon in your discoveries too, so check there as well. Good luck!

I play NMS on ps4 and when I'm not feeling too lazy to setup my PSVR I definitely prefer to play NMS in VR. Farming, mining, grinding, all these things that are tedious and take time become much more enjoyable when you can simply point your multi tool or whatever at the thing you're mining whilst looking around and enjoying the scenery. Grinding in general just becomes more fun. Even when pulsing to and from places, instead of just blankly staring in front of you it's nice to look around and take it all in while flying. Not to mention, everything that's gorgeous about this game is literally right in front of you. The sheer size and magnitude of everything is more emphasized. Easily the best VR title PSVR has to offer.
I got the Star Seed twice. The Atlas storyline bugged out and the stations popped up again on my map even though I've already completed it. So I just activated all the chambers, made my choice and... nothing. I already did it all and had the starseed so it just reset and now the atlas stations are a permanent fixture for me.

The atlas interface mission stays for most everyone. I think they are planning on adding to the storyline.
@@JasonPlaysNMS Even after 4 years there's a lot that seem unfinished in this game. More storylines would keep me invested in the game. I mean beyond the point where I essentially have infinite resources and money.

There are 300 galaxies in the game you’d have to do the atlas path that many times for it to go away most likely.
If u hit an orb and nothing happens means u have already learned that word that was stored in that orb
I got pass this part and now im at the point where i have star seed and the remebrance and if you put them next to each other they light up like the upgrades when you put them next to each other. Idk the next step. BUT the side rooms on space stations and random bases you find have a atlas thing and it gives you little storys
How do you get the remembrance blueprint?

So iv tried this a few times it seems to not want to work all the time when I talk to polo then go look at my galaxy map its weird
I'm fairly certain to learn the words from the white orbs you have to reach them before they turn fully white. I do this by going above them with my jetpack and falling onto them.
Those Atlas word nodes, I think you know them already that's why they are blank.

I have Remembrance and Star Seed. I got a different option. I had the option to reset I went to the same place you went behind the Atlas. I only had 4 different colored options to choose from. I tried the green option. After my game kicked me out 6 times in a row while starting the reset I chose not to reset. Now when I go to the Atlas Interface it's the same thing over and over. That's to Birth a New Star. I still don't know what Birthing a New Star does.
I have the heart of the sun however no atlas station pops up or is in my coordinates, anyone know what I should try?
Once u have that, u can bring up the craft screen to craft "rememberance" in ur inv. slot.
Here year later. Can skip polo still just open map when leave atlas and next will pop up. Also doesnt end when you birth a new star and make the star seed thats when you should see your first black hole.
I just figured out after my 5th warp that you can skip polo by selecting the atlast quest. 😂 I should of read the comments earlier.
The reason you hit some of those glowing orbs and they don't give you anything is because you already know the word.

does this quest stay in your log after completing? I did the full path, but the log says "speak with the atlas." When you visit an atlas station it's completely abandoned, no interfaces anywhere.
I remember that when I bought the game I played it not updated and I was a Atlas follower. I remember that there was different text than this ones.
There seem to be diffirent endings
Whenever I go to polo and ask for atlas station location it never pings it in my galaxy map. I have completed the story up to the point where I have to reach the center of the galaxy. I am confused can anybody help me.

Ok can someone answer this. While do all this traveling, I had a message about a leylines and it took me to atlas but this time it asked if I wanted to reset the universe way early. I said no and it gave me the heart of the sun but I cannot make it because there is no recipe. It tells me to ge the recipe from the anomaly but there it is not an option. Anything I can do to make it?
Can anyone help me? I got to the final part where you put in the heart of the sun but i left to go craft it and afterwards I joined a friend's game to pick some crafting materials up and now the mission is gone and when I go to polo it gives the option but no station shows up?

I left the alter that gives you the mark of the denier, I should have taken it when I had the chance.
Cause now I can't remember how to get back there to grab it.😅
I was told afterwards to head to a blackhole. It took me through 2 before just leaving me there. Then i asked polo about an atlas interface to see if i had truly finished it. It just told me to get another heart of the sun and enter all the seeds again. I completed it and got the star seed again. Im sure it will pop up again and ask me to enter it all again

Not sure if this is a glitch or if i just got really unlucky but following the path to the next atlas station i've been sitting here warping to where it tells me to warp to for an hour now and it still shows then path getting longer wtf is going on
Go back to Polo and ask where the nearest Atlas station is, he will mark one closer to where you are.
|||||||| - FPS Question - ||||| I have 60 FPS in the whole game except in high density bases, with lots of itens and buildings. In these areas it ranges from 30-40. Do you guys have consistent above 60 FPS in large bases? If I lower base complexity it looks awful. Checked all forums and videos and nothing solves that in this particularly game. Other games run smoot maxed out.

I cant do this... :/ Polo wont give me atlas station coordinates and I dont have the atlas path mission in my log at all. I dont have any of those recipes (I have 83 milestones complete though) what do I do to fix this?
Can someone please help me .. I can't get polo to give me an atlas coordinate .. doesn't show up on my galaxy map and doesn't let me select "atlas path" .. and I need to finish heart of son I believe it's called. I have finished the story and reset.

I have been trying to get all of it for so long, but then it gave me remembrance before the heart of the sun, so I can’t even make it and I can’t talk to polo because he only sells me technology but I already have all the technology so I’m stuck. Yeah. Emglish.
So the funny thing is, I got the they who returned mission while doing this.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I did all of this on PS4 ages ago. Came back recently to my PC save I had not played in 2 years and started doing the atlas path again. I chose not to reset, got the remembrance, went to polo asked for coordinates, but nothing is coming up in my Galaxy map and I'm wondering if I am bugged out.
I have Galileo to it did not give me the star seed nor can see black holes glitch? I have everything 10 but By stream survival is 4. Playstation 4 vr I don't know how to fix it
I did the majority of the Atlas path last night and I only had to visit Polo to get to the initial Atlas interface. I feel like the Atlas word (bubbles?) are an RNG type thing. I could find no rhyme or reason that I could find.
Can you enter all the atlas stations without interfacing with the atlas?? That way you can pick up all the words before you talk to the first one...
Or does that not work?

I have to disagree with you. To me the best "space" game music is from Metroid Prime. NMS music is good, though Prime has it beat.
Jason!!! New subscriber here, just a little correction, don't know if beyond changed that, but you don't need to go to polo each time, just the first time! And you need to craft all the seeds in order to interact with the last interface, no need to craft them before each interface to make a progress! Keep on the good work man, you rock in all galaxies!
If you already met Atlas and refused to reset you can't find atlas station after that so find atlas station first get all the recipe then do story

I haven't bothered to find all the Atlas Stations but i believe there are 16, i just don't wanna spend the time on that just yet, tho i do get annoyed seeing the Remembrance req's for those consoles
I was informed that the Star Seed is currently supposed to increase your health by one core? Linked with Remembrance, it's supposed to add a total of three including the bonus. I have it installed, but I'm still at nine since I have core upgrades from the shield modules. Did they change it or are people capped at nine?
The one on the top where the ship's parked gives you a word and the two at the end of the walk way near the atlas

Hi whenever I try going to an atlas it seems dead with a dull red glow and no response... Any clues?
I have noticed that if I press square as I walk to it, it might give more words, but you have to look down at it as you get close
You don’t need the seeds to activate the chambers (as of 8/21). I activated each seed on the last one in the center. I forgot about all those seeds.
What happens if you somehow miss one of those crucial parts necessary to create the next? Like I didnt have the noospheric orb but I could continue on the atlas path.

Im almost at the end of this path but still cant figure out why everyone says the Atlas lies, we shouldnt believe it! Still cannot decide whether to leave the galaxy yet, not sure what I will lose.
Edit Ive really messed this up! I used each seed to create the next, I thought we only needed the last one. Ive got a shed load of gathering to do!

I think they will be focusing on story stuff. They just hired back a writer from atlas rising, so fingers crossed we get either more story or they go back through the missions and put more detail and link them together. It would be awesome if all missions were linked and you could complete them together

I did it twice and I got words from all of them on the second time.
If Atlas seems to get lost, mine stopped showing in the Galaxy map all together and talking to Nada/the computer console did not reset it either.
Travel through a Black hole, then talk to Nada/computer again and check the Galaxy Map. Mine showed up again after lots of jumps and checking other systems first.
i dont even play no mans sky anymore but i still enjoy watching your content as its just entertaining tbh...

Polo doesn't give me coordinates too, so i can't finish the Atlas Path and get the Atlas Seed. What can i do?
Select the Atlas Station mission from your pause menu. It sounds like you already have an Atlas Station marked, but it is lost somewhere. You should get a red line to follow on your galaxy map

@@doublerrpower5963 Maybe you've traveled TOO MUCH and now you're far away. It's something I've been trough. If you can remember one of the systems you visited with an Atlas Station, you can go there and follow the Atlas path again.

I think once you go to one atlas station, you will get the coordinates for the next one in your galaxy map. It happened to me. I wanted to check whether its correct or just a glitch.

Heart of the sun is a component for "remembrance" that will be a suit upgrade recipe you learn from playing through the game's story. Remembrance can be used at some terminals on planets, usually behind locked doors.
The Star Seed is a health boost I believe.
I’ve even removed the mods I had on, and every time I go to the galaxy map after asking polo it just don’t show up. fat RIP

You have to beat the artemis story line to get the rememberance
When I went to the Atlas the first time, I noticed the "word bubbles" and started looking for signs of a puzzle. I tried every single time and never figured it out. I did learn a LOT of altas words and could almost read the entire last message before I had to pick a type of system so that was helpful. My daughter noticed it but didn't like how long the quests were so she gave up and my brother never even noticed them, so I'm glad someone else finally mentioned them! Thanks for explaining things the way you do, even if you don't know the answer! I'm glad to be a sub! Keep up the good work :D
