I'd much prefer Mixy (Grist's old partner in both battle rap and the Dead Poets) as opposed to Blizzard. Blizzard has heart, but I much preferred Mixy's quick, witty style. Much like Marlo and Shuffle-T, I thought they worked really well together (case in point: Wizard/Schizzah vs Mark Grist/Mixy).

This a unique amalgamation of comedy, wordplay and bars that only they could pull off together. flawless. edit: the only 2on2 i reckon could beat them are world class battlers like illmac & thesaurus, or someone that can somehow be immune to their comedic disintegration of your entire style and persona in a sarcastic and childish fashion

Just watched this battle for the 3rd time! ( and ive watched multiple other 2on2 battles) but..... shufflo are just tooo good!..... im not sure im ever gonna see another duo in battle rap history as good as these guys in my lifetime!!? Shufflo NEED to have a shit load more international battles.
They gave it their best shot, and for the most part, I was highly entertained. But they couldn't hold a candle up to the fuckin FOREST FIRE that is Shufflo. They are the best 2 on 2 of this era.
This certainly wasn't a blow-out from my perspective, as Matter and P Solja did occasionally have pretty good and amusing lines, but most of the type, I have to admit, their angles and such didn't do much for me. I related far more with Shuffle-T and Marlo, and as Grist said whilst judging the battle (I was so excited to see Grist here, by the way), Shuffle-T and Marlo's ability to stay in synch is utterly amazing, and is done to very good effect in this battle. So while it's not a blow-out, I do think that Shuffle-T and Marlo are the two-on-two champs for a reason, and it clearly shows here.
This performance by Marlo and Shuffle is probably the greatest in battle rap history. At some points i felt like im watching top notch theatrical play. Respect from Cali
