I live in West Yorkshire and have been to Knaresborough many times, I love the walk along the river to Mother Shipton's cave to see the petrified objects that people have hung to be covered in limestone. Thanks for the lovely walk 😁👍
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video - Knaresborough really is a wonderful place to visit in Yorkshire, and the riverside walk and Mother Shipton's Cave are yet another highlight of the town :)
Very much so! When I first visited Knaresborough and made it up to the top of the castle I was absolutely floored by the view down to the viaduct - it really is one of the most stunning places in Yorkshire :) Thank you so much for watching - I really hope you enjoyed the video!
I'm glad to hear it! Knaresborough certainly is a gorgeous place to visit, and the scenery in spring will be absolutely wonderful, you'll have a great time :) Thank you so much for watching!

Vous avez raison que Knaresborough est une ville incroyable, avec une histoire et des vues formidables! Je suis très heureux que vous avez aimé le vidéo - belle journée et merci pour avoir regardé :)
Thanks for this. I've spent holidays in this town, and I just love it. I was supposed to go back last year, but a virus got in the way. Hoping for next year, or at least before I get too old to do it! I'm on Canada's west coast.
It's an amazing town with some of the prettiest views in the world as I'm sure you know well! Hopefully you enjoy your next visit to Knaresborough when you get the chance, but I'm sure you've got some nice views over the pond there in Canada too in the meantime :) Thank you so much for watching - I'm really glad you enjoyed the video!
Oh wow!! Just planned to do just this walk tomorrow!! Meet my friend and we walk where you’ve gone and along the river every week. Never tire of it. Thanks for the info! 🙏 It was very interesting with all the historical facts!
Thank you so much! I hope you had a great day out - Knaresborough is as pretty as England gets - and I hope that the info in this video helped you get a better understanding of the town :) Thank you very much for watching - I'm really glad you enjoyed the video!
You're welcome! And thank you very much for watching - I'm really glad you enjoyed the video! I'm so sorry I couldn't fit in Mother Shipton's, though I certainly wouldn't say no to making another trip to Knaresborough in future :)
I've been to Knaresborough on my hols.... Very impressive 👍... Another lovely walk which would be popular is Workworth.in Northumberland..(Not sure if I spelt Workworth correct).. great job
It's a lovely town - and those views towards the viaduct from the castle are so amazing in person as I'm sure you know :) I think it's Warkworth in Northumberland - and yes - I'm looking forward to visiting there as well as Amble in the future - thank you for the suggestions! Thank you very much for watching :)
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and absolutely me too - Knaresborough is without doubt one of the top places to visit when you get the chance :)
Another great reportage by L´Walk. By the way, one can even enhance the virtual experience, simultaneously on a side screen, because BING maps has this town with oblique satellite photos (one of the few), a feature called bird eye view. Normans built the pristine castle. It seems they began England from 1066 on.
Thank you so much! And that's a good tip - if you want to get a better idea of the many magnificent landmarks in Knaresborough or other towns then having Bing or Google Maps beside certainly can help - especially for a look at that gorgeous castle :) Thank you so much for watching as always - I'm really glad you enjoyed the video!
Noted! Thank you very much for your comment - I've started to move to a more free-flowing handheld style of camerawork in more recent videos, which should give a slightly better view of some of the shops I walk by - let me know what you think :)
Ha ha my apologies - I certainly should have mentioned Mother Shipton, though I didn't manage to make it in to have a look at the Cave in this video. Though I must say the idea of going back to Knaresborough is something I would never turn down... Thank you so much for watching - I hope you enjoyed the rest of the video!
Knaresborogh one of the nicest places in England, it is gorgeous around the castle, river and town square but the High Street is awful. Don't know what the planners were thinking and how they got away with it. Such a shame.
I simply love Yorkshire.
The little villages are full of character, tradition, Pennines moors, up hill down dale.
💖💕👍💞💞💝💗👍👍👍👍
Absolutely! Few places quite like it in the world and always a joy to visit! Thank you for watching and glad you enjoyed the video :)
