The last time Russia attacked, most of Lithuanian army fled and ignored Smetona's orders. Only few people participated in guerilla warfare for a while, but frankly it didn't really do anything. In 1990 there was barely any attacking or resistance to speak of. The last time Lithuania legit fought for freedom was in 1800s. And I will be honest, I don't think that NATO will genuinely help if Lithuania gets invaded. We are nothing to them. At best protectors of Suwalki gap, but they couldn't care less about that tiny piece of land that has next to no value for alliance.
