We've always been prepared, we're just going to make sure we don't depend on anyone. The USA should read "we're going to stop buying your weapons and make our own".

@YZF_R6_2020 i have no problems with Europe getting on a stronger independent footing. French have always insisted on guiding their path post WW2. I dont have a horse in that race. But...agreeing that all ships have 1 Captain, it would seem difficult to get strong independent Nations like Germany or Poland to accept a 2nd Fiddle role to France in that regard. Politics in EU are already dynamic and unique. Can only imagine what this will become when Countries military Leaders are added to that mix. I am all for learning more about how EU is planning on making an EU military take effect. That is a level of National Sovereign rights that is incomprehensible to me. EU is very progressive and forward thinking. Other than that I don't think I have a problem per say. Critically thinking about the subject in a way we can debate and institute in a way that will succeed is my intent.
