I've watched 1,000 vocal coaches videos. And you are the best of all of them! I'm tired of coaches playing notes on a piano and asking me to sing MA, MA.

Awesome video Eli! I can personally vouch for Eli and HVT!! In only 2 lessons, Eli took my range from a B4 to a G5!! I regularly hit an F5 with ease now...G5 happens when the stars are in alignment! lol But I literally never dreamt I'd sing higher than a B4....and yet Eli's HVT made it easy!! Thanks Eli, can't wait for my next lesson with you!!

is that even possible to gain such a range in such a short amount of time? and i'm talking about powerful convincing hight notes ala Axl Rose\Geoff Tate. In other words how long does it take to eliminate this vocal break and being able to finally sing through G4 to A5 ? 3,4 or maybe even 5 years of a very good practice? Sorry for being such a pessimist coz i'm always like that when it's too good to be true :)

Wow! I was diagnosed by a professional with a dead nerve in my vocal chords several years ago and because of that was told I would never be able to get rid of the break between registers. I sing professionally in an Irish band and it has been years trying to work around this. With the simple "Mama" I had instant results and huge improvement in making a smooth transition. So simple, but never heard it explained that way. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Hi Eli, I'm from Italy. I'm a singer and i love rock and metal. This exercise is fantastic because it's simple and effective. I can't believe I always had the solution at hand, just need to call my mum! :)

What you can't do in your singing voice, do it in your speaking voice first.

Very natural and easy going teaching style Eli! Thanks! Great descriptions and a Very Effective "freebie" tip for helping singers experience "bridging" in their voice. I'll have to buy your system someday soon. I'd like to teach voice also someday, and your teaching skills are certainly exemplary of skills I will need! I'm curious about your story of finding the "talented" voice coach(es) who helped you build the great voice you have today!

Hi Eli. Thanks for your videos.
Can you please teach me how to sing like Chester Bennington style?

Hey Eli! I've been chasing singing for years. I watched so many online videos, read forums, and listened to artists trying to learn how to sing better. And let me tell you, at 21 with a bass-baritone voice and wanting to sing rock songs from rock bands like Journey is an absolute uphill battle. Of course I'd heard of head voice bridging to chest voice, and I had placed my finger on what head voice was for a long time as I could access it and feel it, but inconsistently. After trying so hard every day, I finally decided to hire a vocal coach for a period of about a year. I learned a great deal from him, but he never really discussed 'head voice' and 'chest voice' as is so often seen when attempting to learn through the interwebs and focused more on learning the biology and mechanics of your singing system. From all of that, while valuable, I had STILL not defined to myself my chest and head voice. Until this video that is. One single word and a 30 second demonstration later, I felt the difference between head and chest voice so well defined with this simple exercise; it was truly mind-blowing. Within a few days of practice and messing around with a few songs, I've figured out for a fact all of the mixed registers of my voice and have opened up a new door of consistency. I normally don't ever comment on youtube videos but I just felt the need to do so here. Thanks so much Eli!!!

So, you basically train that connected transition feel by starting on the top in a soft mechanism and then seamlessly sliding down into the lower part of your range?
Also, as an italian I found the accent funny as hell!
