It's a pleasure, thank you for your words! The dynamics of this piece are not easy, and I was afraid of not having the level that Chopin requires. Until next time!
Hello thank you very much!! Let's see if I can help you, in my Kawai I have used the Piano SK Concert, Voicing Bright 1, Topboard open 3, Brilliance +4. With these parameters it should be the same as mine. All the best!!
@@sergioroch90very nice!! I just bought a brand new Kawai GL40 Grand piano but I would like something to play with headphones at times. I was set on getting a Kawai CA701 but started looking into this MP11SE as well. Which one would you recommend? Is this your only piano?
I am considering the MP11SE for my daughter, also an ardent fan of Chopin. She has a U3, however she needs to shift to a grand to progress further. How does the action compare to a grand piano such as a C3 or model B ,as we don’t have room for a grand.
I would not change the U3 for a digital piano. It is true that the mp11se is the best in digital piano, the response is very good and you forget about tuning, but if your daughter needs to go up a level this would not be a good change, I would stay with the U3. Best regards
If you want to step-up from an upright but don’t have a space for a real grand, the only option is to consider a hybrid piano that has a grand action. You may want to consider Kawai novus series or Yamaha Avantgrand or Casio Gp510. The Kawai NV10s and Casio Gp-510 are the leader in this industry and offer actions that are identical to the real grand. But they also cost about the same as an upright piano. I hope this helpful.
U3 is still superior. It's a fine alternative to play with headphones or to play on stage once in a while, but that's really it. Although the action is fine, it is not comparable to that of a concert grand or quality upright piano. MP11 keys tend to have a slow upward movement, which makes it difficult to play fast single note repetitions. The double escapement of most grands compensates for that. The U3 or any other decent upright may be a better choice over a grand, as grands are more expensive to get that same quality.
Thank you for your comments. Yes, Chopin lived a period of his life in Valldemosa, Mallorca. This piano does not have a stand, I use a double one, which supports its 32 kilos of weight and is stable. Greetings!
I'd go with the 7's as you won't have to drive them so much to get the volume. If you're planning on using them with synths then maybe the 8's. Great playing and fantastic gear!
You played it beautifully! I loved the varied dynamics you were able to put out. Good work, sir!

@@PASCALOU0762 Hi, i used Yamaha HS80M.
Could I plz ask what speakers u used? Could u comment on whether u prefer the mp11se or Nord grand?
Hi, I have used Yamaha HS80M monitors. I haven't tried the Nord piano, cheers!
Sergio what sound system are you using? These monitors look huge...

Hi, I have used Yamaha hs80m monitors
Was this the SK5 sample or the SK-EX you used? This sample sounds amazing. Just like your playing!
Thanks my friend! neither of the 2, i have used Piano SK Concert (Voicing Bright 1, Topboard open 3).
@@sergioroch90 But it was a sample that comes with the piano or an external one?
@@SHVideografie I have used a sound from the same piano. The mp11se comes with 3 pianos: The SK Grand, EX and SK5.

How do you like the stock speakers on the mp11se, I'm thinking about buying this piano
I think the Genelec 8020, Presonus Eris E5 or Yamaha Hs5 are good options.
Elegant performance, Sergio.
I think Majorca was where Chopin composed the Preludes.
How do you like the piano stand? Is it stable?

Yamaha HS80M
@@sergioroch90 thanks !:))
Does this piano feel and sound anything like a real piano?
A digital piano cannot match an acoustic one, in this case the touch is the same, and the sound is the best you will find. All the best!
Hs7 or hs8?
Yamaha HS80M, although I recommend a smaller model.

Ever tried the Neumann Kh 120 II? Would that be good with the MP11se?
