I have four LCD projectors (yaber wimus and el chepos ) they all have the same problem with screen burn I assume it's because of the UV emitted by the LED lights even if it is at a low level it is consistent and could possibly burn the polarizing plastic... Before it gets worse I intend to use clear UV blocking plastic in the projector to stop the burn in damage, all projectors do have abundant ventilation. If this helps let me know 😁

i guess... you fixed the burn and added a whole new mark in the screen. film was laid loose and is causing shadows, lower right black streak for instance.

So are you harvesting the film paper from a dead device? Am I correct? Because I found a source that has this film specifically I believe on AliExpress.
I think it's no hope for these cheap ass projectors. I love my Yarber 1080p projection (when I first got it), I ain't had it but 9 months and it's doing the same shit. It ain't worth going through all that trouble just to have it come right back, it probably is the LCD panel or some shit. I've cleaned my lens/ Etc. internally and all of that shit, It ain't dust that's for sure but it's clearly a burn.
It's not the foil, it's the glue that holds the foil! He showed us how to remove that and see the diverens! 😊

It is a pause or cut in the recording he paused recording then went to turn the lights off then returned to the projector and resumed recording in the dark

If didn't open ,it may be circuit problem.if opened may be polarized glass direction changed.try to change angle of this glass

If my polarizer glass looks totally clear, yet there's still a yellowish spot on my projector, is it possible that it is the LCD?
I took my projector apart and the color spot was in the LCD panel
@@TheSuperrooroo88 thank you for your reply. Will you be replacing your LCD, or it's not worth it for you? I'm on the fence on whether I'm going to bother for my burned LCD. As mine could've been a lot worse.
The replacement LCD I got wasn't compatible. My luck for buying a cheap no-name projector. I trashed it and bought a new one, but over time the issue has slowly come back. My thought is the lamp is too close to the LCD and it's heat burning the liquid crystals
@@TheSuperrooroo88 I agree on the taking a chance with cheap projectors. I also agree that the LCDs are way too close to the lamps. This seems to be a standard layout with cheap projectors. I will be making this my first and last cheap projector. When this one dies, I'll save up for a BenQ or something mid-range.
