I’m so overwhelmed by all the Black Friday deal videos that are out right now. I would like to take advantage of some deals but I don’t feel compelled to shop on my phone or even in person. It feels so out of control and draining.
I’ve don’t shop Black Friday and never will either.😊. Sometimes I do Small Business Saturday to support the local economy but that is it. Love your message and love your videos.

I bought shiny little pumpkins this year and bought them all at different rummage sales, and a fall pillow for 2 dollars. I told myself no other season just autumn.
I have noticed online the last couple of weeks advertising "early" Black Friday....now that's odd to me since there's only the day after Turkey Day can really be that! And shopping so early before Christmas just doesn't feel as festive. The only shopping I may do this weekend is perusing small local shops on 'Small Business Saturday'. It's a way to relax for me....
You all probably figured this out as I have, but the "early" Black Friday thing, is to try and beat the other stores to get sales before we all run out of money. They know that we all only have a limited number of resources.
Thank goodness we've only had the Black Friday sales here in New Zealand for a few years. Shopping here is not the greatest anyway and we are lucky if we even get 50% sales, most times they will only have 20% discounts. Now that I'm a bit more mentally mature, I've cut down on my shopping mostly to save money but also I have no place to put these new purchases, as it is I'm trying to get rid of my hoarding. Another great video and glad there's a few of us that think similar.
The really funny Black Friday thing is how people think they’re getting such a great deal on these cheap big screen tv sets. They are so cheap because they’re specially made for Black Friday sales with the cheapest components they can possibly put into them. There’s even identification inside the tv showing it’s a Black Friday model. People about wanna kill one another to get one and what they’re getting is a piece of garbage that’s made just to barely outlive the warranty then break lol.
I absolutely agree! Black Friday is the stupidest thing a person can go out and do. Everything that people buy is just junk today. The quality today is garbage and cheap quality. I feel Black Friday is so fake, and everyone follows the crowd. Less is more. 💖💕

Like you, I wear cashmere and designer brands and pay $3.00 for a cashmere pullover and 6.00 for a pair of lined wool trousers and 8.00 for a brand new pair of Merrell sneakers. I refuse to buy into the black Friday buying hype. I have a few items for the holidays that I reuse again and again. Silver and white decor for Christmas. For autumn, I buy sugar pumpkins and then cook them up and add it to my dogs food and she loves it. It's a win, win!
Black Friday is my reminder to get my online shopping done and send out my Christmas cards. Being in rural Canada, I need to make sure to give enough time for the mail. Not interested in any sales. My family give me Christmas lists and I may or may not follow them. I really don't care about anything hyped. Thrifiting for Christmas presents can be fun. I usually purchase my Christmas wrap at my local thrift store.
TRUTH! Preach It Sista! I've had just about enough with being slammed with everything from video's to junk mail that I just "have to have it or miss out" BS! Especially after my vehicle breaking down and losing my phone; both which pushed me back in finances for now as it is but I just don't have a need to do any wasteful spending. Great advice and lovely postcard. I'd say just say no to xmas and any commercial spending to keep up with the Jones's unless you have little children who wouldn't understand not having xmas like everyone else and things like that

It's main stream media and the internet. They do an outstanding job of selling junk to people who don't need it. Now that I'm older I don't do it. I haven't been out on black friday for a long time. Thrifting is the way to go to get your stuff.
