MaxPax was able to win in the final match vs a terran in a terran-favoured map. Now that What I love to see, the guy is a beast. I would have died so many time being bullied by terran from start to finish but MaxPax cook and delivered hard. That was pure dopamine at the end.

I got a bad fever, a Tekken Tournament today, Culinary school in 2 days and here I am up at 2 AM watching a Lowko vid - I suppose this is still a cost efficient trade
What a series, the level of play and back and forth was amazing. Kept thinking games were over after amazing micro battles but both players had been marcoing hard behind them to come back in. Exceptional

Just realized: shield batteries spawn with full energy now? Offensive shield battery meta is back?
I believe that only is the case if the shield battery is close to a nexus. If it's just out on the map, it spawns with half energy, if I remember correctly.
@@Spartsou Makes sense. But half energy is still not bad. Last time I paid attention - it was probably like 25% even near a nexus.
@@AndrewRomashreading the shield battery wiki, I see patch 5.0.9 "Starting Energy reduced from 100 to 50 outside of the Nexus field". I see no other patches that changed starting energy.

You can tell the game is pretty damn skill expressive when you have a weekly tournament that basically is a forgone conclusion who plays the finals for months.
maxpax is amazing but toss is nerfed garbage if the game was more balanced clem doesn't win a single game remember terran femboys that clem used to play toss and never won anything lol he switched to terra and now he's good at the game lol if maxpax switches to terran the nerfs to terran start lol

More likely he just is so used to the timing between attacks that he just timed it out and knew when to blink to avoid the damage(which is still amazing)

On game 2: Why do pro players do that? Literally each and every one of them knows that, each and every one of them, when they decide to cheese, they will build their structures to the most remote place possible but within striking distance. And then, the opponent sends a unit to scout, it goes to all the places where if there was a structure you would actually be able to see it from orbit, they don't see anything and they go: "Ok, no cheese. I'm good."
