Love this! So grateful for your lesson. With 65% of the US population being visual learners (including me) your visual chord charts are so helpful! This is something lacking in so many other guitar tutorials. You also teach at such a smooth pace, not too fast or too slow. Thanks so much!
Nice video good work the only thing that I think is not needed is playing the G chord I would not finger the B on 5th string just lay the finger on it to make it dead from the 6th a number of players play G without the B but I am not sure it makes that much difference in sound when strumming but easier to play for some. You gave a clear demo well done.
The Eagles didnt overuse that intro strum during the rest of the song when playing live either. You are correct, there needs to be sonic space for the vocal melody, etc... So many bad lessons out there. Yours is excellent!
yes but over the years of teaching i've noticed it's easiest to describe it this way as most guitar players aren't reading music and practicing a lot of official notation. saying 'triplet' tends to help most players get the idea
Yeh I get it. I’m from a trumpet background so reading is second nature. Maybe not a necessary comment. Sorry if it came across as snarky. Anyway….now I’m learning guitar and the teaching methods are noticeably different. I really like your style! Thanks!
Thank you man, best guitar lesson I’ve ever gotten
Thanks for the compliment! I've been teaching for a long time so I'm glad I'm getting the hang of it :)
best video tutorial of this song I've come across ... your fingering diagrams make a huge difference .... gained another follower ... thanks

Great lesson specially, with the inserts to show the cords, the hand positioning while you play great job

Nice lesson. I’m sure you know those aren’t triplets but an eighth and two sixteenths right?
